Scultura ellenistica e paesaggio urbano: i casi di Tindari e Solunto

The archaeological evidence provides us with significant clues about the role of the sculptural display in the urban space during the Hellenistic period. The paper focuses on two study cases from Tindari and Solunto respectively. Thanks to the investigation of overlooked archival documents and historiography, it has been possible to single out the monumental contexts of the sculptures. It is now quite certain that the two marble Nikai from Tyndaris come from the mid-19th century excavation at the theatre, perhaps from the paraskenia of the huge late Hellenistic scene building. General invertible transformation and physical degrees of freedom

An invertible field transformation is such that the old field variables correspond one-to-one to the new variables. As such, one may think that two systems that are related by an invertible transformation are physically equivalent. However, if the transformation depends on field derivatives, the equivalence between the two systems is nontrivial due to the appearance of higher derivative terms in the equations of motion. Este trabajo estudia la relación excepcional entre acontecimientos históricos y género sacramental, a partir de un auto que se dio por perdido durante bastantes años. Se trata de El socorro de Cádiz de Juan Pérez de Montalbán en el que se alegoriza la defensa de Cádiz contra los ingleses en 1625. This paper analyzes the exceptional relationship between historical events and the sacramental genre, based on an «auto» that was considered lost during many years. This «auto» is El socorro de Cádiz by Juan Pérez de Montalbán, in which the playwright allegorizes the defense of Cádiz against the English in 1625.

Si cerca di distinguere i vari epe confluiti nei due poemi e come i Bearbeiter finali li hanno messi insieme. The traditional output of philological work aiming at the constitutio textus is the print critical edition with apparatus footnotes showing select variant readings. The digital scholarly edition, instead, is not constrained by the space limits of the printed page, so it can encode and visualize synoptically many versions of a text, as found in different textual witnesses. Quasi-Lie Brackets and the Breaking of Time-Translation Symmetry for Quantum Systems Embedded in Classical Baths

Many open quantum systems encountered in both natural and synthetic situations are embedded in classical-like baths. Often, the bath degrees of freedom may be represented in terms of canonically conjugate coordinates, but in some cases they may require a non-canonical or non-Hamiltonian representation. Herein, we review an approach to the dynamics and statistical mechanics of quantum subsystems embedded in either non-canonical or non-Hamiltonian classical-like baths which is based on operator-valued quasi-probability functions.
