Due brani del romanzo di Kafka Il castello descrivono gli amplessi del protagonista K. con una servetta dell’ostello presso cui egli si trova ospitato. Le due scene e le espressioni usate dallo scrittore per descriverle rimandano a due noti brani del De rerum natura di Lucrezio. Non è facile stabilire se si tratti di una ripresa consapevole (l’“arte allusiva” di Pasquali) o di una semplice reminiscenza, ma la circostanza costituisce in ogni caso la testimonianza di un’affinità spirituale fra i due autori. Activation of the plasma contact system triggers several cascade systems such as the kallikrein-kinin system, the intrinsic pathway of coagulation, the classical complement cascade and the fibrinolytic system. Recent studies have shown a critical role of the contact system for arterial and venous thrombus formation and thromboembolic disease. In contrast, the function of the contact system for host-defense reactions and its physiological functions have remained enigmatic. International audience; In many parts of Sicily, the Late Antiquity represents a period of strong transformation in settlement patterns and landscapes. These changes occur also on an area 20 km SE from Agrigento, on the southern coast of the island: this is the territory around the imperial villa of Cignana (2nd-3th century AD), where the University of Palermo carried out some surveys from 2007. During the surveys more than 30 new topographic units of Late Antiquity were detected: some of them are big and accurately dated, others are small and difficult to interpret.
