Background: Although the mechanistic target of rapamycin (MTOR) kinase, included in the mTORC1 and mTORC2 signalling hubs, has been demonstrated to be active in a significant fraction of patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), the value of the kinase as a therapeutic target needs further clarification. In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia. Traditionally, the measures are quantitative and they use production units such as words, clauses, T -units, and sentences. In research on learner language complexity, accuracy and fluency (CAF), syntactic complexity is often studied with quantitative measures based on words, clauses, sentences, and T-units. The findings have been mixed, but segmenting learner language into these units of measure has seldom been problematised, even if the need for accurate coding is well known. The present study explores words, clauses, sentences, and T-units as production units in written learner language using a corpus of 352 L2 Finnish texts (28,813 words). Abstract The study investigates the linguistic basis of Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) levels in English as a foreign language (EFL) learners’ writing. Specifically, it examines whether CEFR levels can be distinguished with reference to syntactic complexity (SC) and whether the results differ between two groups of EFL learners with different first languages (Sindhi and Finnish). This sheds light on the linguistic comparability of the CEFR levels across L1 groups. Low-cost metallate salts Na2MO4·2H2O (M = molybdenum, tungsten) react with a tridentate amine bisphenol bis(2-hydroxy-3-tert-butyl-5-methylbenzyl)methylamine (H2ONOtBu) under ambient conditions in acidic methanol solutions. The reactions lead to the formation of isostructural dioxo complexes [MO2(ONOtBu)(MeOH)]·MeOH in convenient yields. Spectral data as well as X-ray analyses reveal these complexes to be isostructural. Both compounds were tested as catalysts for epoxidation of olefins using cis-cyclooctene, cyclohexene, norbornene and styrene as substrates and tert-butyl hydroperoxide and hydrogen peroxide as oxidants.
