Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma keskittyy yleisön kokemuksiin uudesta julkisesta taiteesta ANTI – Contemporary Art Festivalin yhteydessä. Tutkielman laadullinen aineisto koostuu ryhmähaastattelusta, jonka analyysimenetelmänä käytin sisällönanalyysiä. Ryhmähaastattelu keskittyi haastateltavien kokemukseen Avustettuja kadunylityksiä Kuopiossa -teoksesta (2011) sekä siihen osallistumisesta. Toinen tutkimuskysymys koski uuden julkisen taiteen vaikutusta kaupunkitilassa tapahtuvaan vuorovaikutukseen.
