The Mediterranean bioregion is widely recognised as a biodiversity hotspot and its inland waters are among the species richest ecosystems of the northern hemisphere. However, the extent of such biodiversity has not been totally unravelled, especially in the Mediterranean islands. Here we present a first account of the crustaceans inhabiting 21 permanent and temporary ponds in Crete, the largest of the Greek islands and the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Many works in management sciences are interested in the appropriation of management tools. On the other hand, few studies deal with the pre-appropriation phase, particularly of quality control tools. By understanding pre-appropriation as the first representations that the actors build of a tool, we wanted to know if an enabling management mode has an influence on them. An exploratory case study carried out in a component of a French public university, engaged in an AACSB accreditation process, allows us to draw some provisional conclusions: a partial capacitating steering mode influences pre-appropriation by giving rise to contrasting representations.

Geometry and feedback classification of low-dimensional non-linear control systems

The purpose of this thesis is the study of the local and global differential geometry of fully nonlinear smooth control systems on two-dimensional smooth manifolds. We are particularly interested in the feedback-invariants of such systems. In a first part we will use the Cartan's moving frame method in order to determine these invariants and we will see that one of the most important feedback-invariants is the control analogue to the Gaussian curvature of a surface. With the conceptual framework of control levers of Simons (1995), this article shows how to coordinate diagnostic and interactive uses of the same "management control system" (in this case a system of environmental indicators) for the deployment and the emergence of new strategies. In contrast to the literature, we propose an articulation "in parallel" of levers of control as alternative to sliding levers of control. These results are obtained from a case study in a French wine and spirits subject to large strategic environmental uncertainties.
Etude des déterminants de la prime d'acquisition d'un bloc de contrôle : le cas français

Dans ce travail, nous vérifions si la prime payée lors de l'acquisition d'un bloc de contrôle dépend de la taille de ce dernier et de la détention préalable d'actions de l'entreprise par l'acquéreur du bloc. Nous testons nos hypothèses sur un échantillon de 80 opérations réalisées en France entre 1996 et 2002. Nos résultats montrent que la taille du bloc acquis a une incidence sur la prime payée par les acquéreurs. Par ailleurs, nous constatons qu'il y a lieu d'étudier séparément les opérations effectuées par les actionnaires possédant déjà une fraction des actions de l'entreprise et celles effectuées par de nouveaux actionnaires
