Nel 1970 Giuseppe Samonà coordina il gruppo di progettazione formato da Vittorio Gregotti, Gianni Pirrone e Alberto Samonà per il Progetto del Centro civico, commerciale e culturale di Gibellina Nuova. Del piano è realizzato il municipio e poi, rielaborato e in altro luogo, il teatro. I monumenti, fondati su un asse pedonale in quota connesso a un suolo artificiale articolato, esprimono l’unità architettura – urbanistica e anticipano, per certi versi, una riflessione successiva del Direttore dello IUAV sulla dialettica fra urbano e rurale.

After the territorial unity of Italy in 1861, romanists, ethnographers and musicologists addressed their efforts in collecting poems and folk music, aiming to demonstrate the interconnection among different regions. At the end of the nineteenth century, the impulse to identify the unity of the country through dialects became a dogma, in order to consolidate the unachieved “Italianness”. Alongside to this presumed linguistic similarity, an obsessive mix of nationalism and irredentism provoked the political campaign, which brought to the war in 1915. A syntactic analysis of the subject clitic a in the Friulian variety of Campone

This article presents a syntactic analysis of the third person subject clitic a in Camponese, a heretofore unstudied Friulian variety. Following Poletto's (2000) map of subject clitics, we argue that it bears [+third person] features, and is, in fact, the spell-out of the functional head Subj°, located in the highest projection of TP (following Rizzi & Shlonsky 2007). In the first part of the article, we offer a detailed description of the distribution and syntactic properties of the subject clitic a, identifying its position in relation to the other elements that occur in the CP and TP. In 1916, Bertoni published his essay Italia dialettale in addition to the fundamental studies of Diez, Meyer-Lübke, D’Ovidio and, of course, Ascoli, on which Bertoni builds his geolinguistic reference framework. In that year a series of essays, specifically dedicated to some phonetic aspects of the Sicilian dialect, had already been written by German linguists on one hand and Sicilian folklorists on the other. Contact between Italian and dialect in Sicily: the case of phrasal verb constructions

The Phrasal Verb Constructions (PVCs) are an interesting example of the intertwining between Italian and dialects of Italy. These constructions are formed by a verbal base (especially of motion), and a locative or direction marking particle and exist in standard Italian as well as in regional varieties of Italian and dialects (i.e. Italian andare via 'go away', mettere giù 'put down'). Because of their progressive diffusion in different varieties of regional Italian, PVCs can be construed as an emerging feature increasingly accepted in regional standards.
