IEEE Std. 1459 power quantities ratio approaches for simplified harmonic emissions assessment

The paper investigates the suitability of using power ratio parameters for harmonic emissions assessment at the point of common coupling (PCC). The study is carried out starting from the IEEE Std. 1459-2010 apparent power decomposition, where power factors are defined for evaluating line utilization and harmonic pollution levels. In addition, the study investigates the behavior of new parameters, which are expressed in terms of ratio between IEEE Std. 1459-2010 power quantities. The study is carried out for both single-phase and three-phase case, also considering the presence of capacitors. ? 2018 IEEE.
Current transformers effects on the measurement of harmonic active power in LV and MV networks

The harmonic active power is used to determine the location of polluting loads, the direction of harmonic power flow and to estimate how consequential a certain current harmonic source is. The highest uncertainties, when measuring harmonic active power, are introduced by the current and voltage transducers. This paper presents experimental results which show the impact of current transformers (CTs) on the accuracy of the harmonic power measurements. An expression for the evaluation of the power error in distorted conditions was developed which can be easily utilized in the case of linear current transducers. Investigation about selective harmonic elimination in unbalanced multilevel inverters

In this paper 5 and 7 levels cascaded H-bridges inverters are considered, feeding by unequal dc voltage sources. The effect of these unbalancing operation is examined concerning harmonic analysis and total harmonic distortion of the output voltages. The system of equations, obtained by the expansion in the Fourier series of phase output voltage, is solved by applying a method of graphic solution that allows obtaining the switching angles able to eliminate the lower order harmonics.

We determine the correct dimension gauge for measuring generalized quasicircles (the images of a circle under so-called µ-homeomorphisms). We establish a sharp modulus of continuity estimate for the inverse of a homeomorphism with finite exponentially integrable distortion. We exhibit several illustrative examples. peerReviewed
Mappings of finite distortion : boundary extensions in uniform domains

In this paper, we consider mappings on uniform domains with exponentially integrable distortion whose Jacobian determinants are integrable. We show that such mappings can be extended to the boundary and moreover these extensions are exponentially integrable with quantitative bounds. This extends previous results of Chang and Marshall on analytic functions, Poggi-Corradini and Rajala and Akkinen and Rajala on mappings of bounded and finite distortion.
Study of the interocclusal distortion in impressions taken with different types of closed-mouth trays and two types of impression materials

The aim of this study was to compare different types of impression trays for the closed-mouth impression technique, using two different types of impression material. For this study, five different types of impression trays were used with two different types of impression materials, one of addition silicone and the other of polyether. We designed a model used for taking the impressions and for measuring interocclusal distortion. The results obtained show that the impression trays COE (GC (R) GC America INC. Mappings of finite distortion between metric measure spaces

We establish the basic analytic properties of mappings of finite distortion between proper Ahlfors regular metric measure spaces that support a ( 1 , 1 ) (1,1) -Poincaré inequality. As applications, we prove that under certain integrability assumption for the distortion function, the branch set of a mapping of finite distortion between generalized n n -manifolds of type A A has zero Hausdorff n n -measure.

The reaction of antimony(III) oxide with ethylamine, in molar ratios from 1:1 to 1:10, in concentrated hydrobromic acid leads to the formation of one product – bis(ethylammonium) pentabromoantimonate(III). The structure of (C2H5NH3)2[SbBr5] was determined at 298 and 90 K, below and above the phase transition that occurs at about 158.5 K. The orthorhombic system was found in both phases, space groups Cmca and Pbca at 298 and 90 K, respectively. At both temperatures the structure consists of [SbBr6] 3− octahedra connected via cis bromine atoms forming one-dimensional zig-zag [{SbBr5}2−]n chains. The structure of bis(dimethylammonium) pentachloroantimonate(III), [(CH{sub 3}){sub 2}NH{sub 2}]{sub 2}[SbCl{sub 5}], BDP, was studied at 15 K and ambient pressure by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as at ambient temperature and high pressures up to 4.87(5) GPa by Raman spectroscopy. BDP crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group with a=8.4069(4), b=11.7973(7), c=14.8496(7) A, and Z=4; R{sub 1}=0.0381, wR{sub 2}=0.0764. The structure consists of distorted [SbCl{sub 6}]{sup 3-} octahedra forming zig-zag [{l_brace}SbCl{sub 5}{r_brace}{sub n}]{sup 2n-} chains that are cross-linked by dimethylammonium [(CH{sub 3}){sub 2}NH{sub 2}]{sup +} cations.
