The article demonstrates the significance of Florian Znaniecki’s personal documents method and biographical method in contemporary sociology. By relating to the methodological disputes of the late 19lh and early 20lh century, it indicates the theoretical basis for the establishment of those methods and the connection with inductive sociology put forward by F. Znaniecki. It presents the diary-writing competitions announced in the interwar period as a sign of the implementation thereof. La inscripción en el registro consular no es obligatoria para los emigrantes españoles. Conlleva, no obstante, una serie de ventajas que propician, antes o después, su realización. En este artículo se identifican y analizan los principales motivos que animan a ello a los emigrantes españoles. Se toman como base fundamental los datos e informaciones obtenidos a través de una encuesta cuantitativa y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a más de cuatro mil españoles residentes en el extranjero. Document management systems are complex systems, which offer services as storage, versioning, metadata, security, as well as indexing and retrieval capabilities. Large numbers of documents could be automatically grouped into classes of documents, which contain similar information. Therefor we propose to use clustering methods in order to group the documents. El trabajo presenta unas tablas que recientemente han aparecido en el mercado artístico. Cuatro de ellas las atribuimos al anónimo Maestro de Portillo. Una quinta tabla, subastada en Italia, la adscribimos al Maestro de Calzada, que trabajó, sobre todo, en el ámbito vallisoletano. Estas personalidades artísticas continúan en el anonimato, seguramente por la escasa documentación conservada en el territorio donde ejercieron su profesión.
