Abstract Significant progress has already been achieved in green manufacturing including dry and hard, often high-speed, machining technologies. For instance, the demand for higher productivity has resulted in the wider application of ceramic and PCBN tools with special multi-radii (wiper) geometry. Parametric Design of Sailing Hull Shapes

The author presents an original algorithm aimed at automatically generating the hull shape of a sailing yacht starting from an initial set of parameters. The procedure consists of two steps. First one keel line and a Designed Water Line (DWL in the following) are faired according to a set of parameters, say length of water line, canoe body draft, stem angle and some adimensional coefficients. This information is then used to fair the hull surface, which must in turn fulfil more prerequisites (parameters like displaty cement, floatation area and related coefficients). The parochial church of Santa Águeda in Sotillo de la Ribera, located in the province of Burgos, Spain is the object of the works of graphical documentation using different methods of survey, which provide a material with different levels of precision, here analysed and confronted. The value of documentation of buildings never surveyed before, enables a much more thorough formal analysis and offers the possibility of contrasting cases with similar features within the territory. [EN] The archaeological excavations that have been carried out in the Hispano-Roman city of Valeria have exhumed the remains of a thermal complex from the 1st century AD that it was in service for four centuries and that, after its abandonment, it was barely spoiled for its constructive and decorative materials.
