Integrazione di celle fotovoltaiche ibride nel vetromattone

L’invenzione riguarda l’integrazione del vetromattone con celle solari ibride (organiche/inorganiche), conosciute come Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSC). La combinazione del vetromattone con le DSC consente di migliorare le prestazioni del prodotto originario rendendolo in grado di produrre energia pulita. The integration of Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSC) with the glassblock is disclosed. The combination of the two technological elements the glassblock and the DSC module enhance their own peculiarities. The final complete product is ready-made for installation owns the qualities of the glassblock and produces sustainable energy at the same time. The transparency and the thermo-acoustic insulation may be modulated according to the specific requirements of each case of installation. The product may be used for example to create PV panels for glazed and translucent façades that are able to perform efficiently in all light conditions (even in diffuse light also converting internal artificial light) that are not dependant on the angle of the solar radiation and do not suffer from the high operative temperatures of functioning due to the peculiarities of the DSCs. DSCs are made of economic and biocompatible materials and are produced with low-cost and highly productive printing methods on rigid or flexible substrates. With the integration of DSC modules with the glassblock PV panels coincide with the envelope itself so that they do not need any further structures to be installed on and allow the possibility of subtract from the price of the panel the price of the substituted building element allowing further economies. DSCs can be printed in different colours and with various patterns offering to designers and customers the possibility of intervening on the glassblock aesthetical aspect also taking advantage of the peculiar modularity of the glassblock for larger compositions of drawings on the building’s façade. Seven Hypotheses of integration are discussed in order to obtain DSC-integrated glassblock ready for the construction of a precast and dry-assembled PV panel which can use the horizontal and vertical cavities between the glassblocks to house plastic profiles where the electric interconnections and the steel bars -useful for improve the mechanical resistance of the panel- are integrated.Settore ICAR/10 - Architettura Tecnica

L'anfiteatro di Sabratha: vecchie indagini e nuove ricerche

L’Anfiteatro di Sabratha, ignorato dai viaggiatori del XVIII e XIX secolo, venne segnalato nel 1912 da Henri Méhier de Mathuisieulx ed indagato da Renato Bartoccini a partire dal 1924. Gli scavi e le ricerche portate avanti in quegli anni permisero di rimettere in luce gran parte del monumento, che rimase tuttavia non pubblicato. Recenti scavi e ricerche hanno adesso permesso di redigere un nuovo rilievo ed un nuovo studio del monumento. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to explore the spatial extent of pain and its association with clinical symptoms, psychological features, and pain sensitization in people with frozen shoulder (FS). Forty-eight individuals with FS completed pain drawings (PDs) and reported their clinical symptoms including pain intensity (Visual Analogue Scale) and shoulder disability (Shoulder Pain and Disability Index). W artykule podjęto rozważania teoretyczne, ale także analizy empiryczne – na podstawie badań przeprowadzonych wśród dzieci 5–6-letnich i uczniów edukacji wczesno-szkolnej – nad zagadnieniem trudnej sztuki obrazowania ruchu w rysunku. Analiza 1471 dziecięcych rysunków dowiodła, że badane dzieci na ogół tworzą rysunki, które charakteryzuje brak dynamiki (51,3%), czasem jednak podejmują próby zobrazowania ruchu – mniej lub bardziej udane. Il contributo indaga il progetto di Ernesto Basile, mai realizzato, per Palazzo Lanza dei principi di Deliella a Palermo, attraverso lo studio dei disegni originali (1895-1897). Questi consistono in 15 documenti grafici che raccolgono 5 piante, 6 prospetti e 4 viste prospettiche, che rappresentano quattro versioni di progetto con diverse soluzioni, di ognuna delle quali è possibile reperire una documentazione frammentaria e incompleta, riconducibile a tempi ideativi differenti. 1. Breve descrizione dell’oggetto di studio Il concorso del Palazzo di Giustizia di Roma si svolge in quattro fasi svolte tra il 1884 e il 1887. Il progetto per il primo concorso, del 1884, redatto dall’allora giovanissimo Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932), rivela una grande perizia progettuale che trasforma il complesso programma funzionale in un austero edificio in stile neofiorentino. Brief description of the object of study The competition of the Palace of Justice in Rome takes place in four phases between 1884 and 1887. The project for the first competition in 1884 drawn up by the then very young Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932) reveals a great deal of design expertise that transforms the complex functional program into an austere building in neo-florentine style. The original drawings of the building not realized kept in the Basile Endowment of the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo have been the subject of preliminary study to the phases of analysis interpretation and conceptual reconstruction of the digital model. 2.
