Inductive E.S.O. model evolution: towards a viable inference model of resilience dynamics.

2013

In this paper, we will present the last evolution of the Territorial Intelligence (TI) networking vulnerability model. To introduce it, we'll first describe a well-known late 80's model of socio-economic crack-up, known as "Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars", constituted by three passive components as potential energy, kinetic energy, and energy dissipation. To extend this model to social and ecological sustainability pillars, we propose to present the E(Economic)-S(Social)-O(Organic) IT-collaborative model, based on the three sustainability capitals. Goal of this model is the developement system viability computation, which related "Viability theory" computational framework is able to define s…

Sustainable or responsible gastronomy is taking shape. Towards a new ethical space?

2022

« Sustainable or responsible gastronomy » is taking shape…towards a new ethical space ?AbstractThe article questions the concept of "sustainable or responsible gastronomy", a new ethical value defined as one of the topoi of the discourses on food in public institutions and chefs. The socio-semiotic analysis of websites targets the discourses of chefs to understand how they appropriate this concept. The aim is to identify what constitutes this new space translating the individual and solidarity social commitment of leaders. Giving meaning to the sensitive experience of gastronomy in its relationship to oneself, to others and to the world, moving from a individual and single experience to a c…

Natures urbaines en conflit. Écoquartiers, patrimoine et potagers militants

2014

Thermal Engine and Climate Change Challenge

2021

Thermal engines have dominated sectors of economy, and particularly transportation. Their current development and state of the art are the results of XXth century priorities related to economy and environment. In the future, thermal engines will face the challenge of emerging technologies in the frame of sustainable mobility and development. After an analysis of functioning principles and perspectives of development, particularly of combustion engines, thermal engines are compared to other realistic scenarios for transports applications in well-to-wheel and life cycle analysis.
