Greek tradition links the death of regent Pausanias of Sparta with ghosts. In this paper, we focus on the well-known episode that revolves around Pausanias himself and a Byzantine maiden and is transmitted by Aristodemus, Plutarch and Pausanias Periegetes. The multiplicity of versions demands a comparative analysis, which we carry out taking into account the three spaces where the narrative action takes place (civic, intimate and ritual spaces). Results indicate a concordance between Plutarch and Pausanias Periegetes, as well as a dissonance between them and Aristodemus. Forest fires are a significant threat to the ecological system’s stability. Several attempts have been made to detect forest fires using a variety of approaches, including optical fire sensors, and satellite-based technologies, all of which have been unsuccessful. In today’s world, research on flying ad hoc networks (FANETs) is a thriving field and can be used successfully. This paper describes a unique clustering approach that identifies the presence of a fire zone in a forest and transfers all sensed data to a base station as soon as feasible via wireless communication. Noise contribution to resonance phenomena and information propagation in non linear electronic networks

This manuscript presents research aiming to show possible positive effects of deterministic and stochastic perturbations on the responses of different nonlinear systems. To that end, both numerical and experimental studies were carried out on two kinds of structures : an elementary electronic FitzHugh-Nagumo oscillator and an electrical line developed by resistively coupling 45 elementary cells. In the first section, the elementary cell characterization was undertaken in a deterministic regime. Nel 1901 Gustav Mahler si accosta per la prima volta alle poesie di Friedrich Rueckert, che utilizza in varie composizioni, ma soprattutto nel ciclo dei "Kindertotenlieder" (Canti funebri per i fanciulli). Il saggio si concentra sulla genesi di questo ciclo liederistico, analizzandone alcuni degli aspetti di maggiore rilievo, anche sul piano del rapporto fra la musica e il testo.
