Tas satur 25 attēlus, 2 tabulas, un 29 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem Darba mērķis: izmantojot mentālās rotācijas testu, izvērtēt atbildes sniegšanas laika un precizitātes atšķirības sievietēm un vīriešiem Metodika: tika izmantots speciāls datorizēts tests, kas sastāvēja no 192 figūru pāriem: 96 divdimensionāliem un 96 trīsdimensionāliem. Džomon perioda māla figūras (dogu) simboliskā nozīme un pielietojums

Šajā darbā tiek pētītas Japānas Džōmon perioda (aptuveni 12000. g. pmē. – 300. g. pmē.) māla figūriņas dogu (土偶 – dōgu) un to izmantošanas veidi gan perioda ietvaros, gan mūsdienās. Pētījumā tiek izmantota salīdzināšanas metode, ar kuras palīdzību dogu figūriņas un to nozīme tiek salīdzinātas ar Eiropas Akmens laikmeta Venēras figūriņām. Šī izpēte tiek veikta tādēļ, ka par dogu figūriņām joprojām nav pārāk daudz informācijas. Darbā tiek aprakstīti arī arheoloģiskie izrakumi un dažādi pētījumi, ko veikuši dažādu valstu pētnieki un vēsturnieki, un sniegts pārskats par viņu izvirzītajām hipotēzēm attiecībā uz figūriņu iespējamiem izmantošanas veidiem un nozīmi. From the visual arts to music and literature, ‘miniatures’ are a transcultural and transhistorical phenomenon that involves our aesthetic attitudes but also our everyday life, our emotional, social and cognitive life. Miniaturisation characterises our cognitive life and, of course, the ‘cognitive life of things’ that we produce, manipulate and discard.
