Speciation of dimethyltin(IV) – and trimethyltin(IV) – carbocysteinate and – glutamate systems in aqueous media

The formation of complex species in the dimethyltin(IV) and trimethyltin(IV)-carboxymethyl-L-cysteinate (carbocysteinate) systems in NaClaq, at different ionic strengths, and in a multicomponent Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cl- and SO42- medium representative of the seawater major composition, is discussed. ON SYLOW NORMALIZERS OF FINITE GROUPS

[EN] The paper considers the influence of Sylow normalizers, i.e. normalizers of Sylow subgroups, on the structure of finite groups. In the universe of finite soluble groups it is known that classes of groups with nilpotent Hall subgroups for given sets of primes are exactly the subgroup- closed saturated formations satisfying the following property: a group belongs to the class if and only if its Sylow normalizers do so. The paper analyzes the extension of this research to the universe of all finite groups.

Abstract Compartmentalized reaction networks regulating signal processing, communication and pattern formation are central to living systems. Towards achieving life‐like materials, we compartmentalized urea‐urease and more complex urea‐urease/ester‐esterase pH‐feedback reaction networks into hydrogel spheres and investigate how fuel‐driven pH fronts can be sent out from these spheres and regulated by internal reaction networks. The existence of suppletion in a Proto-Indo-European language is still a question of debate (García Ramón 2002). While the evidence for such a phenomenon has been widely recognized within the verbal system of most Indo-European languages, some scholars describe it as a recent monoglot development which characterizes the history of each single language without involving a previous common stage. Partnership formation and dissolution over the life course: applying sequence analysis and event history analysis in the study of recurrent events

We present two types of approach to the analysis of recurrent events for discretely measured data, and show how these methods can complement each other when analysing co-residential partnership histories. Sequence analysis is a descriptive tool that gives an overall picture of the data and helps to find typical and atypical patterns in histories. Event history analysis is used to make conclusions about the effects of covariates on the timing and duration of the partnerships. As a substantive question, we studied how family background and childhood socio-emotional characteristics were related to later partnership formation and stability in a Finnish cohort born in 1959. Pułkownik Zbigniew Jacorzyński to postać wybitnie zasłużona dla polskiego pożarnictwa. Urodził się 8 sierpnia 1921 roku w Cieszynie. Był synem oficera Wojska Polskiego. W młodości udzielał się w polskim harcerstwie. W 1937 roku stanął do poboru i dostał przydział do broni pancernej, głównie z powodu fascynacji motoryzacją. W 1939 roku ukończył liceum o profilu matematyczno-fizycznym, po czym odbył obowiązkową sześciotygodniową służbę w Junackich Hufcach Pracy w Równym, na granicy Polesia i Wołynia.
