Médiateurs linguistiques et culturels dans l'ile de Lampedusa: une enquete

The island of Lampedusa, in Sicily, has been in the news for years because of the landings of migrants (especially Africans). Our study is based on interviews with cultural mediators who work with NGOs and other hosting humanitarian organizations based on this extreme land of Europe. We intend to verify, through our interviews, what are the major cultural problems (Katan 2014 [1999]) in translation, the level of manipulation and the risks that translators must assume to accomplish their task.

The purpose of this paper is a quantitative and qualitative investigation into the study of onomatopoeic sounds, which can be uncovered in the French and Italian versions of Mickey Mouse. This survey will take place through a comparison between the French and Italian stories and, at the same time, by a focus on onomatopoeic sounds as the concrete signs of the use of informal language. French Corpus: Le journal de Mickey from 1934 (number 1) to 1937 (7 numbers) and Picsou (from 1977 to 1984), about 60 stories.Italian Corpus; Nel Regno di Topolino from 1936 to 1939 (8 comics) and Topolino (from 1977 to 1979, 8 comics) about 70 stories.

In this paper, the focus is, first of all, on the organization of commercial education and French language teaching programs after the coming into force of the Casati Law; then the study focuses on the pedagogical aspects of a body of textbooks. For each aspect, we highlight the differences and, at the same time, the similarities of the methods present in the textbooks used for the teaching of the French language in schools and technical institutes.

En conséquence il n’est pas surprenant qu’un texte original dans lequel domine le conflit d’émotions fortes telles que l’angoisse et la passion, dans la traduction bonnefoyenne puisse se transformer dans un poème de l’espoir, cet espoir qui chez Yeats ne jaillit que dans quelques instants fulgurants. Il est évident que le poète traducteur français ne se reconnaît pas dans la forme du vers yeatsien et dès lors il en refuse le calque.
