Root cause analysis of large scale application testing results

2015

In this paper we present a new root cause analysis algorithm for discovering the most likely causes of the differences found in testing results of two versions of the same software. The problematic points in test and environment attribute hierarchies are presented to the user in compact way which in turn allows to save time on test result processing. We have proven that for clearly separated problem causes our algorithm gives exact solution. Practical application of described method is discussed.

The mapping properties of the radiosity operator along an edge

In this article we study the radiosity operator along an edge between two adjacent half-planes. First we show that the radiosity operator is invertible in a whole scale of anisotropic Sobolev spaces. In the absence of any shadows we are able to derive regularity properties of the solution, which depend only on the angle between the half-planes, the reflectivity coefficients and the right-hand side. Registration of arbitrary multi-view 3D acquisitions

International audience; To register 3D meshes representing smooth surfaces we track the 3D digitization system using photogrammetric techniques and calibrations. We present an example by digitizing a 800 mm x 600 mm portion of a car door. To increase the tracking accuracy the 3D scanner is placed in a cubic frame of side 0.5 m covered with 78 targets. The target frame moves in a volume that is approximately 1100 mm x 850 mm x 900 mm, to digitize the area of interest. Using four cameras this target frame is tracked with of an accuracy of 0.03 mm spatially and 0.180 mrad angularly. A registration accuracy between 0.1 mm and 2 mm is reached. Fast narrowing-driven partial evaluation for inductively sequential programs

Narrowing-driven partial evaluation is a powerful technique for the specialization of (first-order) functional and functional logic programs. However, although it gives good results on small programs, it does not scale up well to realistic problems (e.g., interpreter specialization). Display of travelling 3D scenes from single integral-imaging capture

Integral imaging (InI) is a 3D auto-stereoscopic technique that captures and displays 3D images. We present a method for easily projecting the information recorded with this technique by transforming the integral image into a plenoptic image, as well as choosing, at will, the field of view (FOV) and the focused plane of the displayed plenoptic image. Furthermore, with this method we can generate a sequence of images that simulates a camera travelling through the scene from a single integral image. The application of this method permits to improve the quality of 3D display images and videos.
