Improved measurement of $^8$B solar neutrinos with $1.5 kt·y$ of Borexino exposure

We report on an improved measurement of the $^8$B solar neutrino interaction rate with the Borexino experiment at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. Neutrinos are detected via their elastic scattering on electrons in a large volume of liquid scintillator. The measured rate of scattered electrons above 3 MeV of energy is $0.223\substack{+0.015 \\ -0.016}\,(stat)\,\substack{+0.006 \\ -0.006}\,(syst)$ cpd/100 t, which corresponds to an observed solar neutrino flux assuming no neutrino flavor conversion of $\Phi\substack{\rm ES \\ ^8\rm B}=2.57\substack{+0.17 \\ -0.18}(stat)\substack{+0.07\\ -0.07}(syst)\times$10$^6$ cm$^{-2}\,$s$^{-1}$. Treść artykułu dotyczy problematyki regulacji przestępstwa obcowania płciowego z małoletnim z art. 200 § 1 Kodeksu karnego. W tym zakresie stwierdzono pewną niepełność w aktualnej regulacji, identyfikując ją oraz podając rozwiązanie w postaci propozycji, tj. znowelizowania art. 200 k.k. przez dodanie do niego § 2, który opisywałby to przestępstwo w ramach quasi-typu uprzywilejowanego jako wypadek mniejszej wagi. Sformułowanie niniejszego rozwiązania stanowi ocenę aktualnego stanu prawnego przez zwrócenie uwagi na potrzebę zmiany uregulowania prawnego w tym zakresie
Regional headquarters and foreign direct investment

Headquarters (HQs) provide a wide range of services, playing a fundamental role in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). We use the structural gravity equation to investigate the effect of regional HQs on three dimensions of FDI (number of foreign projects, capital investment, and jobs) at the country-pair-sector level. Furthermore, we explore two underlying mechanisms that help explain this relationship: financial constraints and informational costs and uncertainty. We find a positive effect of regional HQs on FDI, as well as intercountry and intersector spillovers. Our results are robust, accounting for HQ intensity, domestic investment, and endogeneity tests.
