Open Dialogues in social networks: professional identity and transdisciplinary collaboration

2010

Aim: The aim of this article is to explore the challenges connected to the transformation and emergence of professional identity in transdisciplinary multi-agency network meetings and the use of Open Dialogue.Introduction: The empirical findings have been taken from a clinical project in southern Norway concerning multi-agency network meetings with persons between 14 and 25 years of age. The project explores how these meetings are perceived by professionals working in various sectors.Methodology: Data was collected through three interviews conducted with two focus groups, the first comprising health care professionals and the second professionals from the social and educational sectors.

A Proposal of Process Fragment Definition and Documentation

2012

This paper focuses on the field of Situational Method Engineering (SME) for the construction of agent-oriented design processes. Whatever SME approach a method designer wants to use, he has to manage two main elements: the (method or process) fragment and the repository where it is stored. Specific fragment definition and documentation are fundamental during these activities, for new process composition, and for the consequent system design activities. This paper aims at illustrating a proposal of fragment definition and documentation. This proposal is aimed to be an input for the IEEE FIPA Design Process Documentation and Fragmentation working group and, as regards our own research work, t…

Eettisesti haastavat tilanteet ja niiden kuormittavuus johtajien työssä: fokusryhmäkeskusteluiden analyysi

2010

Tässä pilottitutkimuksessa tutkittiin laadullisesti johtajien työssään kokemia eettisesti haastavia tilanteita (sisällöt, kontekstit) sekä niissä koettuja ristiriitakokemuksia. Työtilanteita luokiteltiin laadullisen aineiston pohjalta. Aineisto kerättiin 16 suomalaisen johtajan fokusryhmäkeskusteluista (neljä ryhmää). Tulokset osoittivat, että johtajat kohtasivat usein työssään erilaisia eettisesti haastavia tilanteita suhteessa organisaation sidosryhmiin. Näitä sidosryhmiä olivat organisaation toimintaympäristö eli yhteiskunta, asiakkaat, omistajat sekä henkilöstö (johto, kollegat ja alaiset). Haastavien tilanteiden sisällöt jakautuivat viiteen luokkaan: 1) monimutkaiset työtilanteet, 2) r…

How and Why to Start and Run a SIGCHI Local Chapter

2015

There is a vast and increasing interest towards local HCI communities around the globe and in particular on geographical areas in which HCI has only recently started to gain increasing interest by local industries as well as academic institutions. A SIGCHI Local Chapter is one of the ways a local HCI community can organize and get visibility and support for their activities. However, many active volunteers in this field might not be aware of this possibility. The main goal of the Chapters' SIG in CHI'15 is to inform interested parties of SIGCHI Local Chapters and to find ways in which SIGCHI could better support local HCI communities with their various needs all over the world.

Violência, evasão e exclusão na educação superior

2019

The present text focuses on a relationship between higher education, institutional and symbolic violence and exclusion, practicing as a challenge based on reflections on the existence of evasion in Brazilian university. Ignoring the educational institution as a direct responsible for these things, this text considers that a logic in University organization and operation helps to enlarge inequalities that provide the mechanisms of evasion; at the same time, it presents itself as a space of reference and a struggle against social inequalities and violence. On a provisional basis, the text stands out that: depending on the execution of educational procedures and practices undertaken by the ins…

A survey on algebraic dilatations

2023

In this text, we wish to provide the reader with a short guide to recent works on the theory of dilatations in Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry. These works fall naturally into two categories: one emphasises foundational and theoretical aspects and the other applications to existing theories.

Students' problems in the identification of subspaces in Linear Algebra

2018

International audience; The goal of the study presented in this paper is the investigation of students' problems with exercises concerning central topics of linear algebra courses at university level. We present the results of our analysis of students' work on an exercise about subspaces of . We evaluated the written solutions of the task as well as transcripts based on videos taken of student groups working on the problem. We identified and classified descriptions of vector spaces and subspaces that varied widely and demonstrated highly different skills in working with geometric or formal algebraic objects. We analyzed how far students could progress in a complex reasoning process, and ide…

Constant sign and nodal solutions for parametric anisotropic $(p, 2)$-equations

2021

We consider an anisotropic ▫$(p, 2)$▫-equation, with a parametric and superlinear reaction term.Weshow that for all small values of the parameter the problem has at least five nontrivial smooth solutions, four with constant sign and the fifth nodal (sign-changing). The proofs use tools from critical point theory, truncation and comparison techniques, and critical groups. Spletna objava: 9. 9. 2021. Abstract. Bibliografija: str. 1076.
