Abstract Multiple sclerosis is a highly heterogeneous disease, and the detection of neuroaxonal damage as well as its quantification is a critical step for patients. Blood-based serum neurofilament light chain (sNfL) is currently under close investigation as an easily accessible biomarker of prognosis and treatment response in patients with multiple sclerosis. There is abundant evidence that sNfL levels reflect ongoing inflammatory-driven neuroaxonal damage (e.g. relapses or MRI disease activity) and that sNfL levels predict disease activity over the next few years. Abstract: Inter patient shape, size and intensity variations of the prostate in transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) images challenge automatic segmentation of the prostate. In this paper we propose a variational model driven by Mumford-Shah (MS) functional for segmenting the prostate. Parametric representation of the implicit curve is derived from principal component analysis (PCA) of the signed distance representation of the labeled training data to impose shape prior. En este artículo se propone unametodología de aproximación al aula entendiéndola a través del concepto deimagen tal como lo contemplan los Estudios Visuales. A lo largo de todo eldesarrollo voy acercando el concepto de imagen y el concepto de aulacreando vínculos entre uno y otro. Si la imagen no es una estructura sino unestructurando, el aula es, igualmente, un espacio de construcción continuadonde cada elemento y cada relación cuentan.

The authors analyze the question of whether there is a mimetic correlation between the conservation of Catalan and the maintenance of a cultural and national identity. They study the self-inclusion, if any, of youths between six and fifteen years of age in national groups -Catalan or Spanish- according to the language spoken at home and at school, together with the images and feelings they construe in relation to other European national groups.
