An Evaluation Model for Social Work with Substance Abusers

In this article, the research topic is to develop an evaluation model for social work with substance abusers. It is studied by presenting an example of how the evaluation process could be carried out in practice. The study has been implemented with the Department of Social Services and Health Care’s Centre for Recovering Substance Abusers in Finland (RSA Centre). The term “evaluation model” refers to a way of collecting client follow-up information and the way the information is used to develop social work practices. Šis diplomdarbs pēta pirms lasīšanas uzdevumu ietekmi uz vārdu krājuma paplašināšanu un lasīšanas izpratni. Tā mērķis ir izstrādāt pirms lasīšanas papildu uzdevumus un izpētīt, kā tie veicina skolēnu sasniegumus vārdu krājuma uzlabošanā. Teorētiskā daļa ir vērsta uz teorijām par ciešu savstarpējo saistību starp lasīšanu un vārdu krājuma pārzināšanu. Empīriskā daļa apraksta gadījumu izpētes rezultātus. Datu vākšanas rīki parādīja priekšrocības, ko sniedz papildu pirms lasīšanas pasākumi studentu grupām, kas bija iesaistītas eksperimentā, salīdzinot ar studentiem, kuri izmantoja tikai mācību grāmatu materiālus. Tässä kandidaatin tutkielmassa tutkitaan psykodynaamisen musiikkiterapiajakson aikana soitettuja improvisaatioita musiikkiterapeuttiseen käyttöön kehiteltyjen musiikkianalyysimenetelmin. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on tarkastella asiakkaan ja terapeutin välistä musiikillista vuorovaikutusta, musiikin dynamiikkaa ja siinä tapahtuvia muutoksia terapian kaaressa. Tutkimuksen aineisto on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston musiikin laitoksella tehtyä kansainvälistä Braintuning- tutkimusta, jossa selvitettiin improvisaatiolle pohjautuvan musiikkiterapian vaikutusta masennuksesta toipumiseen. Application of molecular imprinted polymers for selective solid phase extraction of bisphenol A

Selective molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) with bisphenol A as template were synthesized using the non-covalent imprinting approach. MIPs were prepared using thermally initiated polymerization with 1,1’-azobis(cyclohexanecarbonitryle) (ACHN) as initiator and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EDMA) as a cross-linking agent. The tested functional monomers included methacrylic acid, acrylamide, and 4-vinylpyridine. The selectivity of the BPA-MIP for the solid phase extraction of bisphenol A was tested in samples containing other related alkylphenols.
