The paper presents a study carried out on the island of Pantelleria regarding the interaction among distributed energy resource and energy storage systems in renewable energy communities. EU, in the Clean Energy Package, defines the 'Jointly acting renewables self-consumers' (JARSCs) and the 'Renewable Energy Communities' (RECs) as innovative models to share energy from renewables facilities. The requirement for a more sustainable energy mix is promoting the spreading of technologies supplied by renewable sources. However, the introduction of unprogrammable energy sources in small electrical grids could jeopardize the stability of the entire system. In this context, the paper analyses a small island in Vietnam, assessing the effects due to the installation of a new power plant supplied by sea wave energy. While the installation of this technology could represent a great opportunity to reduce the local energy dependence, on the other side the quality of the supply could be worsened. Solutions are assessed to allow a good network service.

Fat supplements, es- pecially conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), are increasingly popular ergogenic aids among endurance athletes. To evaluate the im- portance of fat supplementation in the practice of endurance sports, we investigated the effects of CLA supplementation on body weight, muscle hypertrophy, peripheral blood composition, and bone marrow composition in healthy, young, endurance- trained mice. Young, healthy mice were subdivided into control, trained, and treated groups, according to their running atti- tudes. In tutti gli studi che affrontano il tema della perdita della diversità animale allevata e vegetale coltivata in Sicilia non si fa cenno alla presenza di razze animali nelle isole circumsiciliane, ad eccezione dell’asino di Pantelleria. Recenti indagini hanno permesso di accertare una presenza storica, seppur limitata, di razze animali, oggi estinte, sulle isole parasicule.
