Not Quite Final: Principle of Res Judicata in National Judicial Proceedings in the Area of State Aid

This article addresses the principle of res judicata in the context of rules on State aid, including the case-law of the Court of Justice and the 2021 Commission Notice on the enforcement of State aid rules by national courts. The limits of the principle at issue required by Article 108(3) TFEU and the powers of national courts to recover unlawful aid (with or without a recovery decision from the Commission) are discussed. The law is stated as it stood on 1 January 2022 (with some later developments). Does being from a higher social class lead a person to engage in more or less prosocial behavior? Psychological research has recently provided support for a negative effect of social class on prosocial behavior. However, research outside the field of psychology has mainly found evidence for positive or u-shaped relations. In the present research, we therefore thoroughly examined the effect of social class on prosocial behavior. Moreover, we analyzed whether this effect was moderated by the kind of observed prosocial behavior, the observed country, and the measure of social class. Abstract Unbaffled stirred tanks are increasingly recognized as a viable alternative to common baffled tanks for a range of processes where the presence of baffles is undesirable for some reason. Gas-liquid-solid Operation of a High Aspect Ratio Self-ingesting Reactor

Gas-liquid stirred vessels are widely employed to carry out chemical reactions involving a gas reagent and a liquid phase. The usual way for introducing the gas stream into the liquid phase is through suitable distributors placed below the impeller. An interesting alternative is that of using “self ingesting” vessels where the headspace gas phase is injected and dispersed into the vessel through suitable surface vortices. Automatizētās mašīnmācīšanās pakotnes AutoKeras pielietojums attēlu klasifikācijā

Automatizētās mašīnmācīšanās (AutoML) mērķis ir nodrošināt to, ka mašīnmācīšanās lēmumi tiek pieņemti automātiski un balstīti uz datiem, kā arī ļaut pēc iespējas plašākai auditorijai izmantot mašīnmācīšanās priekšrocības. Darbā apskatīts AutoML pielietojums attēlu klasifikācijai ar AutoKeras pakotni, kas veic neironu arhitektūru meklēšanu, izmantojot labākais-pirmais meklēšanas un simulētās atkvēlināšanas algoritmus, ko virza Beiesa optimizācija. Apmācības laika samazināšanai tiek izmantoti tīklu morfismi. Pārbaudot to uz CIFAR-10 datiem, tika sasniegta 97.1% precizitāte, tomēr tas tika iegūts ar lieliem datorresursu ieguldījumiem un rīkam ir noteikti lietojamības trūkumi.

Mūsdienās arvien pieaug uzglabātās informācijas un datu apjoms. Daudz informācijas tiek uzkrāts teksta dokumentos, kas lielākoties tiek uzglabāti nestrukturētā veidā. Maģistra darba mērķis ir iepazīties ar teksta klasifikācijas problemātiku un izpētīt dažādas, biežāk lietotās mašīnmācīšanās metodes, ko izmanto šī uzdevuma atrisināšanai. Tāpat darbā apskatītas metodes teksta datu dimensiju skaita samazināšanai. Darba gaitā veikta angļu valodas datu klasifikācija atbilstoši tēmām, izmantojot ”The New York Times” ziņu virsrakstu datus. Veikta arī latviešu ziņu portālu komentāru klasifikācija agresīvos un neagresīvos komentāros. Abām datu kopām klasifikācija veikta, izmantojot atbalsta vektoru …

Il testo rievoca alcuni momenti del primo soggiorno in Sicilia di Werner Herzog, per la regia di una nuova produzione del "Flauto magico" di Mozart al Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania (dicembre 1991). In particolare, vengono poste in rilievo la concezione registica di Herzog e il suo approccio al capolavoro mozartiano.
