The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a hypermedia learning environment on middle school students' meta-representational competence (MRC) in the domain of music. Particularly, we aimed at determining whether an educational intervention influenced the accuracy with which middle school students matched sounds (sonic fragments) to symbols (graphic representations). Professional identity in relation to vocational teachers’ work : an identity-centred approach to professional development

This paper reports a study on teachers’ professional identity and work in vocational education. The findings showed that vocational teachers’ work included vocational teaching within the school, developmental work, technology-enhanced work, professional duties outside the school, and educational duties within the school. Furthermore, the study revealed the harmonious and tensioned relationships between these elements of the work and teachers’ identities. Recognition of the nuanced nature of these relationships provides a perspective for promoting teachers’ professional development. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the first measures implemented in Italy was the transition from frontal teaching to e-learning. The sudden need to use technologies to perform their job has added a source of stress to teachers’ work, the so-called technostress. En aquest article, els autors descriuen com l'ús de plataformes de treball col·laboratiu ajuda a la millora de competències d'estudiants d'enginyeria, així com a la millora contínua de la qualitat de l'ensenyança. Conseqüentment, a través de la implicació dels estudiants que han participat activament en l'experiència d'innovació docent, s'ha aconseguit l'objectiu principal de l'estudi proposat. Els resultats obtinguts mostren amb èxit el grau d'impacte en la qualitat de la docència (concretament en allò relacionat amb tutories docents) a través de l'ús d'una nova plataforma de treball col·laboratiu: ConferenceXP.

Aquest document vol donar a conèixer l'experiència duta a terme per un grup d'estudiants durant el desenvolupament d'un programa destinat a alumnes innovadors de la Universitat de València. La immersió actual de les tecnologies en tots els àmbits de la societat i en l'educació planteja noves incògnites sobre com es desenvolupen aquestes experiències educatives. El projecte presentat era enfocat als alumnes amb vista a desenvolupar un treball que relacionés les tecnologies de la informació i la comunicació (TIC) amb els contextos d'aprenentatge universitaris. Així, en l'article es presenten les experiències, vivències i conclusions a les quals s'ha arribat quan s'ha acabat el projecte.
