Schelling, esotericism and the meaning of life

F.W.J. Schelling argues in his middle period work Philosophical Inquiries into the Nature of Human Freedom that will should be understood as the most fundamental constitutive element of reality. Though it is often downplayed in recent scholarship, Schelling derived his most central ideas for this work more or less directly from the theosophy of Jacob Boehme. I will argue that far from peripheral and antiquated curiosity, Schelling´s esoteric influences constitute the very foundation of his middle period thought. Attiecīgi, ir ļoti svarīgi apzināt valodas lietojumu un tās atspoguļojumu ziņu rakstos. Tādēļ šī pētījuma mērķis ir pētīt valodas lietojumu rakstos par jaunuzņēmumiem, precīzāk, darbības vārdus ar postpozīcijām un to semantiskās un sintaktiskās īpašības. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, pētījums balstās uz 30 ziņu rakstiem par jaunuzņēmumiem, pēta 220 darbības vārdus ar pospozīcijām un to pielietojumu. Nowadays, it has become commonly accepted that the meaning of linguistic elements is interconnected with the context of their use. Deixis is one of the classical pragmatic phenomena that illustrates that context-dependence is inherent in language as meaning of deictic expressions cannot be constructed without the identification of the speech event where these expressions occurred. Although professional agency has become an increasingly crucial issue in work organizations, investigators lack a brief instrument to measure it. This paper introduces a short measure to explore professional agency at work. A political movement initiated in Mexico known as Zapatism is analysed through the visual objects displayed in their websites on the Internet. The objective is to make a cultural analysis and interpretation of the visual representation of Zapatistas websites, to expose their visual identity through the most salient visual signs and their corresponding cultural meanings. The analytical method introduced in this study is divided in three major aims: consolidating a pool of images retrieved from Zapatistas websites, finding patterns of visual elements within these images, and providing an interpretation for the visual signs emerging from such patterns. This dissertation is a theoretical study of conversation meaning. The aim was to build a comprehensive theory of conversation meaning on the basis of the theories of cultural schemas, distributed cognition, and neural networks. The philosophical tradition of transcendental realism was introduced, and a metaphysical analysis of culture was presented. It was concluded that culture belongs to the realm of mind, and culture and society were strictly distinguished. By acknowledging the importance of culture in mind, rarious traditions of conversation research were critically reviewed.
