El presente trabajo se ocupa de la biografía del médico valenciano Pere Pintor, miembro de una familia de conversos judíos valencianos. Se trata de un médico que, después de formado en el Estudio General de Lleida, trabajó durante cerca de tres décadas en la ciudad de Valencia, al servicio del consejo municipal, numerosos nobles y la casa real. Logró un notable éxito y fama como médico, y alcanzó un elevado nivel de riqueza y promoción social. Todo ello se vio comprometido con la instalación del tribunal de la Santa Inquisición en el reino valenciano en 1481. Pintor y su familia recibió el duro ataque y represión del tribunal. Prima delle sette commedie composte dall’umanista ferrarese Tito Livio Frulovisi (1400-1463 c.), la Corallaria è caratterizzata da un doppio intreccio, entro il quale si individuano frequenti contaminazioni fra temi di tradizione comica classica e motivi di origine novellistica. Rappresentata a Venezia nel 1432, probabilmente da una compagnia di attori professionisti, la Corallaria si configura come una commedia “stataria”, dal momento che la maggiore parte degli eventi che vi si verificano, piuttosto che direttamente rappresentata, viene raccontata dai personaggi. A classification of European skulls from three time periods.

We analyze the taxonomic structure of European populations at three time periods, the Early Middle Ages, the Late Middle Ages and the Recent Period. The data consist of sample means for 10 cranial variables based on 137, 108, and 183 samples for the three periods. Clustering by standard numerical taxonomic procedures reveals that the data are represented only poorly as hierarchic classifications. The clusters form significant and moderately strong associations with an arrangement of the samples by regions (geography) and by language family. Il X20 è una camera funeraria quadrangolare preceduta da un dromos che deriva da un preesistente arcosolio bisomo. Al suo interno accoglie 29 sepolture: dodici arcosoli per adulti e per bambini, una tomba a nicchia, due tombe a cassa e quattordici fosse pavimentali. Si è potuto accertare che l’aspetto attuale del cubicolo è il risultato di quattro fasi costruttive. Alla prima fase appartiene la decorazione ad affresco con temi floreali e vegetali, che riveste la parete settentrionale. After the fall of Constantinople (1453), Pero Tafur and Bertrandon de La Broquière make known their works, which are two of the most important travel books written in Europe during the fifteenth century. Both travellers had known, between fifteen and twenty years before, the emperor of Greece, John VIII Palaiologos, Pope Eugene IV and other protagonists of the councils of Basel (1431-1434) and Ferrara-Florence (1438-1439), which decreed the union between the Roman and Greek churches.
