Despite their undeniable connection to the body and its physiological processes, the phenomenological account of drives differentiates them from both instinctual behaviour and merely biological forces. They design a characteristic dimension of the personal grasp of the world, necessary for our meaningful orientation in all given situations. My claim is that Husserl’s interpretation of drives presents them not as centrifugal forces, but as centripetal strivings, contributing to the unitary constitution of the person. En el presente artículo se pretende exponer una pequeña aproximación crítica en torno a la noción de moral, según lo expuesto en una obra de uno de los más desconocidos y desatendidos filósofos del exilio Español, Juan David García Bacca. A través del análisis de tres ejercicios de literatura, G. Bacca pretende exponer qué es eso de Bien y de Mal y su relación con la moral cristiana, siempre siguiendo una posición esencialmente crítica.

This paper critically compares the philosophy of Gunther Anders and the contemporary transhumanists, like Julian Savulescu, Ingmar Persson, or Thomas Douglas. The Andersian concepts of moral blindness, promethean gap, and promethean shame will be discussed in order to understand human beings’ outdatedness; parallel to this, we will also expose the transhumanist analysis on the unfitness of human beings in evolutive and cognitive terms. We will show that much of the transhumanist analysis is a reformulation of the Andersian thesis, now under scientific terminology.
