The Analysis of the Digital Economy and Society Index in the EU

Abstract The paper analyzes the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), which characterizes the development of digital economy. Based on the data of 28 European countries for 2013–2018, using the panel regression, we studied the influence of the consumption index growth by the purchasing power parity and unemployment among the active population on the structural units of DESI. It is shown that a 1% increase in the consumption index results in about 0.2 increase in the DESI, and an increase in unemployment by 1% leads to about 0.2 DESI decline. Spins and magnetic moments of 58;60;62;64Mn ground states and isomers

The odd-odd 54;56;58;60;62;64Mn isotopes (Z = 25) were studied using bunched-beam collinear laser spectroscopy at ISOLDE, CERN. From the measured hyperfine spectra the spins and magnetic moments of Mn isotopes up to N = 39 were extracted. The previous tentative ground state spin assignments of 58;60;62;64Mn are now firmly determined to be I = 1 along with an I = 4 assignment for the isomeric states in 58;60;62Mn. The I = 1 magnetic moments show a decreasing trend with increasing neutron number while the I = 4 moments remain quite constant between N = 33 and N = 37. Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based couple therapy, views emotion as being central to the process of therapeutic change. As affect arousal of emotion is a somatic reaction, the purpose of this study was to focus on therapists’ interventions classified as noting and commenting on clients’ somatic cue of emotional experience, such as their facial expression or posture, in relation to depth of emotional experiencing demonstrated by clients in EFT couple therapy sessions. The main purpose of this study is to describe and to understand the intercultural couples’ relationships in Finland from the relational-dialectics perspective by Baxter and Montgomery (1996). Following the interpretive research tradition, in this qualitative study, data were collected from 18 heterosexual intercultural couples (36 persons), utilizing the multi-method approach. Testing the shape-similarity hypothesis between particle-size distribution and water retention for Sicilian soils

Application of the Arya and Paris (AP) model to estimate the soil water retention curve requires a detailed description of the particlesize distribution (PSD) but limited experimental PSD data are generally determined by the conventional sieve-hydrometer (SH) method. Detailed PSDs can be obtained by fitting a continuous model to SH data or performing measurements by the laser diffraction (LD) method. The AP model was applied to 40 Sicilian soils for which the PSD was measured by both the SH and LD methods. The text of the three Catalan editions of «Història de les amors de París i Viana», published in Barcelona and Girona in the last decade of the fifteenth century, shows a linguistic orientation towards Castilian and Italian onomastics. It has led to postulate two hypotheses on its textual dependence: a Castilian origin and an Italian origin. Prompt and delayed spectroscopy of 203At : Observation of a shears band and a 29/2+ isomeric state

Using fusion-evaporation reactions, a gas-filled recoil separator, recoil-gating technique and recoil-isomer decay tagging technique we have extended the level scheme of 203 At ( N = 118 ) significantly. We have observed an isomeric [ τ = 14.1 ( 3 ) μ s ] state with a spin and parity of 29 / 2 + . The isomeric state is suggested to originate from the π ( h 9 / 2 ) ⊗ ∣ ∣ 202 Po ; 11 − ⟩ coupling, and it is depopulated through 286 keV E 2 and 366 keV E 3 transitions. In addition, we have observed a cascade of magnetic-dipole transitions which is suggested to be generated by the shears mechanism. peerReviewed
