The interplay teacher regulation and student self- regulation of learning is an important topic in contemporary theories of teaching and learning. The pervasiveness of the boredom experienced by many students, along with its deleterious effects, clearly implies that educators, and teachers responsible for the design of academic settings should pay more attention to this emotion. Nonostante nel panorama nazionale esistano già alcuni strumenti che indagano tale costrutto, si notano sovrapposizioni e divergenze nei diversi fattori presi in considerazione, quali ad esempio la percezione di autoefficacia relativa alla possibilità di agire sull’engagement degli studenti e sulla colla- borazione con la famiglia e altre figure professionali. La chiusura delle scuole che ha provocato un incremento significativo della povertà educativa ha sollecitato l’opportunità di pro-gettare interventi integrati di service learning per favorire il recupero e il potenziamento dei minori in difficoltà. 869 studenti del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Scienze della Formazione Primaria dell’Università degli Studi di Palermo, sono stati coinvolti nella progettazione e nella realizzazione di percorsi didattici mirati, rivolti agli alunni “fragili” di 33 scuole palermitane. Calonghi ha messo a punto una metodologia di ricerca in educazione adeguata alle caratteristiche della scuola italiana. La sua attività scientifica copre un arco temporale di circa cinquanta anni.E' possibile enunciare i principi ispiratori dell'innovazione didattica ricavandoli dalla vasta produzione scientifica di Calonghi. The paper proposes a reflection on the educational dimension of cartoons from the double point of view of Media Education and Neuroeducation. Cartoons are either a means to highlight the educational potential of the fictional fruition practice and an activator memory, attention, emotion and perception which are at the basis of cognition and learning. This contribution describes an education research carried out in the A.Y. 2015/2016 with 12 in-service teachers and 198 university students attending the course of Primary Education Sciences at the University of Palermo. The paper focuses on the reasons for the link between children's rights and family rights, in order to highlight that parenting educational competences are challenging risk factor in contexts of poverty and always decisive factor for the actual promotion of the rights of children and adolescents. This poster describes the FORGE (FactOry of uRban GamEs) project, a proposal that our research group launched in partnership with the Municipality of Palermo (Italy) and other local stakeholders in 2019. FORGE will be hosted in what was previously a chemical plant (the former 'Chimica Arenella') and is an open factory designed to collect needs and to generate interventions for urban innovation. The four key terms we have used for the project are urban, game, factory and participation.
