Eritrea has given an increasing policy emphasis on implementing learner-centered interactive pedagogies (LCIP) at all levels of the education system. However, both teachers and teacher educators struggle with implementation of matching school practices. This study attempts to identify some of the gaps between the objectives set in the National Education Policy of the State of Eritrea and the everyday practices observable at the educational institutions. Artikkelissa esitellään NomadTown, joka on hätätilojen ennakointiin, torjuntaan ja sopeutumiseen sekä myönteisten vaikutusten tuottamiseen toimintansa perustava “resilienssihubi”. It offered the students versatile, unique, individual and communal possibilities to fully study in authentic contextual environments, exploiting virtual tools. Overview of development lines of music teaching methods in Finland

This article provides a cross-sectional overview of the evolution of music teaching methods over a 160-year timeline. The objective of the study is limited to examining the mainstream trends in the development of methods, or their manifestations, as well as discussing the causes behind them. The objective is also to investigate the methodical state of the 21st century teaching. The data consists of previous studies, music textbooks and learning diaries of class teacher students (N=79).
