Older peoples' independent living in their own homes and their ability to move around and maintain social relations in their communities have been acknowledged as important aims to support their well-being. In this article, we study Special Transport Services as a means to support older persons with ‘aging in place’ – that is, within their communities. The subventricular zone (SVZ) is the largest germinal zone of the forebrain and is responsible for the lifelong generation of interneuron subtypes and oligodendrocytes. C1q, the recognition molecule of the classical pathway of the complement system, plays a central role in pregnancy. Lack of C1q is characterized by poor trophoblast invasion and pregnancy failure. C1q can be the target of an antibody response: anti‐C1q autoantibodies (anti-C1q) are present in several infectious and autoimmune diseases. Familias interculturales: aspectos psicosociales de un fenomeno en construccion - Bicultural couples: from family to community

The research examines the dynamics of bicultural couples in which one partner is autochthonous and the other is of foreign nationality. Two levels of analysis were considered: a macro level studying the identity of place in reference to the general social context and the residential neighbourhood, in particular; the second level refers to the dynamics of the couple and examines the strategies for managing differences between partners and the educational styles adopted in the presence of children. Effect of the lack of primary stability in the survival of dental implants

Background The survival of dental implants has been linked to primary stability. The aim of this study is to analyse the factors that influence the survival of dental implants placed without primary stability. Material and methods A cohort study of implants placed without primary stability was carried out between September 2011 and July 2016. All cases with registered information on the patient and surgical intervention were used. Cases that did not have a 12-month follow-up after implant placement were excluded. Results Out of 2,400 analysed implants, 92 were placed without primary stability. The absence of primary stability was classified as B in 49 cases, C in 38 cases and D in 5 cases. …
