Asistimos actualmente a una multiplicación de prácticas de promoción del emprendimiento que, aunque desplegadas en diversos espacios y géneros, confluyen en la difusión de nuevos fundamentos de interpelación ética. El artículo propone el concepto foucaultiano de dispositivo como herramienta de acercamiento a estas prácticas. Tras describir el potencial heurístico de esta herramienta, se procede a aplicarla al estudio de la promoción de las éticas de la empleabilidad. AbstractThe increase in religion-related conflicts around the world emphasizes the urgent need for a better understanding of the role of religion and religious freedom on socio-economic development, both theoretically and empirically. Festive sociability is central for the transmission of tradition and is a fundamental field of interaction between the festive tradition and modernity. This sociability has a reflexivity and a public sphere of its own. The dominant modernist opposition between tradition and modernity is questioned with the help of a recent study of the Fire Festival of the ‘Fallas’ (Valencia, Spain).

Media election campaign coverage is said to have changed fundamentally in recent decades. Among the trends identified are personalization, negativism, more interpretive coverage, deauthentication, and horse-race coverage. Selective attention in the news feed: An eye-tracking study on the perception and selection of political news posts on Facebook

Social networking sites such as Facebook are becoming increasingly important as a source for news. However, few studies have investigated what drives attention to content within the news feed and what influences the selection of news posts. We hypothesized that attitude consistency, the credibility of a source, and comments of other users raise interest in a news post in the news feed and influence the selection decision. A 2 × 2 × 2 laboratory experiment ( N = 103) using eye-tracking measurement showed that attitude consistency did not influence attention distribution in the news feed, but users preferred to select news posts with content reinforcing their attitudes.
