The phylogenetic relationships among the three classes of the Porifera—Demospongiae, Calcarea and Hexactinellida—are still unresolved, despite the use of molecular analyses of rRNA. ENG.: In this article, I try to show that “harmless rape” (i.e., the case of a rape which is not experienced by its victim) poses no real problem for the harm principle. In order to do this, I first give a critical account of the way in which John Gardner and Stephen Shute have faced this very same topic in a pathbreaking essay they wrote about ten years ago. I contend that their argument undergoes some logical and normative flaws. I will then provide a different account of the harm principle, one that, while reflecting more precisely some of the original Millian intuitions, easily explains why socalled harmless rapes should be criminalized. The hole drilling method is one of the most used semi-destructive techniques for the analysis of residual stresses in mechanical components. The non-uniform stresses are evaluated by solving an integral equation in which the strains relieved by drilling a hole are introduced. In this paper a new calculation procedure, based on the Newton-Raphson method for the determination of zeroes of functions, is presented. This technique allows the user to introduce complex and effective forms of stress functions for the solution of the problem. Abstract The survival of eight undesired (spoilage/pathogenic) food related bacteria (Citrobacter freundii PSS60, Enterobacter spp. PSS11, Escherichia coli PSS2, Klebsiella oxytoca PSS82, Serratia grimesii PSS72, Pseudomonas putida PSS21, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia PSS52 and Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 19114T) was investigated in mineral nutrient solution (MNS) during the crop cycle of radishes (Raphanus sativus L.) cultivated in hydroponics in a greenhouse. On interpretation of an architectural project, triangle’s form generally refers both to plans of organic architecture and to fronts of Romanesque and Gothic churches. This wonderful form, that contains God’s eye, is, according to Vitruvius, the geometric generative principle of the Roman Theatre. Everybody knows that De Architectura arrived to us without images; in the past there were innumerable interpretations, from editio princeps (1486). A digital transcriptions, that follows side by side a Vitruvius’ book’s translation, highlights the compositional process that defines that the equilateral triangle is the geometric element that give origin to the composition of theatre.
