Des que es va començar a desenvolupar, no fa ni vint anys, Internet ha trasbalsat el paisatge mediàtic, començant per l’escrit. Els diaris de paper han hagut de prendre-ho ben en compte. En aquest article presentem una panoràmica de la situació de la divulgació científica a França a partir de l’experiència de La Recherche, una revista mensual de divulgació científica, i de la d’altres mitjans francesos.

[EN]: [Objective]: The objectives of this paper are to analyze the Spanish scientific production in nursing, define its temporal evolution, its geographical and institutional distribution, and observe the interinstitutional collaboration. [Method]: We analyze a comprehensive sample of Spanish scientific production in the nursing area extracted from the multidisciplinary database SciVerse Scopus. [Results]: The nursing scientific production grows along time. The collaboration rate is 3.7 authors per paper and 61% of the authors only publish one paper. Objective/Context: This paper explores the relationship between corporate networks and business influence to figure out the conditions of state capture. Methodology: We analyze corporate networks through interlocking directorates in three Central American countries - Panama, Costa Rica, and El Salvador - using network analysis, and we pinpoint the relationship between the structure of the corporate network and two corporate political actions: contributions to presidential campaigns and revolving doors. This paper analyses the development of Spanish research literature in the field of citation analysis and impact factor (IF) in biomedicine over the period 1981-2005. Bibliometric methods and social network analysis were used to examine papers indexed in the Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-Expanded), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), MEDLINE, Índice Médico Español (IME) and Índice de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades (ISOC) databases. 184 papers were identified, 79.89% of which were original research articles. Observer-based adaptive stabilization of a class of uncertain nonlinear systems

In this paper, an adaptive output feedback stabilization method for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is presented. Since this approach does not require any information about the bound of uncertainties, this information is not needed a priori and a mechanism for its estimation is exploited. The adaptation law is obtained using the Lyapunov direct method. Since all the states are not measurable, an observer is designed to estimate unmeasurable states for stabilization. In applied investigations, the invariance of the Lyapunov dimension under a diffeomorphism is often used. However, in the case of irregular linearization, this fact was not strictly considered in the classical works. In the present work, the invariance of the Lyapunov dimension under diffeomorphism is demonstrated in the general case. This fact is used to obtain the analytic exact upper bound of the Lyapunov dimension of an attractor of the Shimizu–Morioka system. peerReviewed
Novel Stability Criteria for T--S Fuzzy Systems

In this paper, novel stability conditions for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems are presented. The so-called nonquadratic membership-dependent Lyapunov function is first proposed, which is formulated in a higher order form of both the system states and the normalized membership functions than existing techniques in the literature. Then, new membership-dependent stability conditions are developed by the new Lyapunov function approach. It is shown that the conservativeness of the obtained criteria can be further reduced as the degree of the Lyapunov function increases.
