This note of research deals with the obsession of tourism scholars for citation impacts. Here I analyze not only the problems of tourism research but also how commercial publishers monopolized the production and the academic market through the imposition of the sense of prestige. This paper examines business, design, and product development aspects of software business models. Contexts of small and large companies for creating software innovations are also analysed. Finally, software business research is called for and an agenda for software business research is presented to better understand the dynamics of the software industry and help create and manage successful software-intensive ventures.
Advancing Design Science Research with Solution-based Probing

We propose solution-based probing as an extension of action design research. The core idea is that researchers bring a prototype solution (probe) into one or more fields and explore to synthesize robust and generalizable design knowledge, along with knowledge of the phenomena and correlations we discover. We believe proposing solutions creates opportunities for researchers to innovate and to document the impact. This article investigates the formal support needs of mothers whose child has been sexually abused. Previous research has focused mostly on the provision of support for abused children to the relative neglect of mothers’ support needs. Here, formal support refers to resources and services from organisations, professionals and authorities, with a specific focus on social welfare services. Social human rights have rarely been given attention in social work research or comparative studies on welfare states. The paper aims at filling the gap by analysing the conception of human beings inherent in human rights and in unemployment policy documents in Germany and Finland.
