The use in psychology of crowdsourcing platforms as a method of data collection has been increasing in popularity because of its relative ease and versatility. Our goal is to adapt the Gratitude Questionnaire–20 Items (G20) to the English language by using data collected through a crowdsourcing platform. The G20 is a comprehensive instrument that takes in consideration the different basic processes of gratitude and assesses the construct’s cognitive, evaluative, emotional, and behavioral processes. This article and the four videos linked to this article are a result of the earliest experiences in establishing an international research collaboration among seven countries in the Project Social and emotional experiences in transition through the early years. We draw attention to the complex issues surrounding the many processes, beliefs and attitudes about infants in research that permeated our processes of gaining ethical approval for the international study and which posed many challenges for our project. Studies have shown that, on average, children’s physical activity (PA) levels in early childhood education and care (ECEC) environments are low, thus opening up the possibility of interventions. We examined the effect of the teacher-implemented one-year long ‘home-and-childcare-based intervention to promote physical activity’ (HIPPA) study on children’s PA in ECEC settings in Finland. Reliable Outer Bounds for the Dual Simplex Algorithm with Interval Right-hand Side

International audience; In this article, we describe the reliable computation of outer bounds for linear programming problems occuring in linear relaxations derived from the Bernstein polynomials. The computation uses interval arithmetic for the Gauss-Jordan pivot steps on a simplex tableau. The resulting errors are stored as interval right hand sides. Additionally, we show how to generate a start basis for the linear programs of this type. We give details of the implementation using OpenMP and comment on numerical experiments.
