Il contributo riguarda lo studio ricostruttivo della Casa 1 in località Monte Sant'Angelo a Licata realizzato nell'ambito delle attività di ricerca condotte dall'Università di Messina. In particolare, il lavoro ha riguardato la ricostruzione virtuale degli stucchi decorati rinvenuti durante gli scavi archeologici. The contribution concerns the reconstructive study of the Casa 1 in the locality of Monte Sant'Angelo in Licata, carried out as part of the research activities conducted by the University of Messina. In particular, the work concerned the virtual reconstruction of decorated stuccos found during archaeological excavations.

Lo studio e la ricostruzione degli apparati decorativi della Casa 1 dell’abitato ellenistico di Finziade costituiscono parte di un contesto di ricerca più ampio, legato al progetto di scavo e valorizzazione dell’area archeologica del Monte S. Angelo di Licata (AG). Indagini di tipo estensivo hanno porta-to, tra il 2003 e il 2005, alla scoperta di un intero quartiere residenziale dicui sono state scavate 7 case, distribuite all’interno di tre isolati, pertinenti alla medesima fase di monumentalizzazione. Dedicated to Saint Generosi and Saint Rosana, the reliquary arms, recalling the shape of a body part, are today located in the Relics Chapel in Palermo Cathedral. They are probably dated to the second half of the 18th century and are attributed to an unknown artist.
