Distributed $n$-player approachability and consensus in coalitional games

We study a distributed allocation process where, at each time, every player: i) proposes a new bid based on the average utilities produced up to that time, ii) adjusts such allocations based on the inputs received from its neighbors, and iii) generates and allocates new utilities. The average allocations evolve according to a doubly (over time and space) averaging algorithm. We study conditions under which the average allocations reach consensus to any point within a predefined target set even in the presence of adversarial disturbances. Influenze tra processo ed esiti: alleanza, coesione e cambiamento in un gruppo terapeutico a lungo termine

Questo lavoro esplora, in un gruppo terapeutico con pazienti gravi, due tra le variabili di processo più indagate nelle terapie di gruppo, l’alleanza terapeutica e la coesione, analizzandone le associazioni con gli esiti del trattamento in termini di sintomi e difese. E’ stato esaminato un gruppo a lungo termine, semi-aperto, a cadenza settimanale. L’osservazione si è svolta per un periodo di 18 mesi, per un totale di 50 sedute. Sono stati monitorati 11 soggetti che riportavano diverse diagnosi nell’Asse I e II del DSM IV. In questo articolo vengono esaminati alcuni aspetti teorici e metodologici sulla va-lutazione della psicoterapia di gruppo ad orientamento psicodinamico. Viene esplicitata la necessità di un approccio complesso poiché a fronte di una crescente diffusione dell’utilizzo clinico del format gruppale, il numero limitato di ricerche sulle terapie di gruppo ad orientamento psicodinamico segnala la presenza di difficoltà metodologiche relative alla strutturazione di disegni ricerca capaci di tenere conto della molteplicità delle variabili in gioco e della loro difficile operazionalizzazione. Chronicles of rice, mosquitoes and malaria in Spain: the case of the province of Valencia (18th-20th centuries)

This study analyzes the situation of the rice fields in the Valencia province (Eastern Spain) during the centuries XVIII-XX. This area, together with the region of Campo Arañuelo (Western Spain), is one of the territories with highest malaria prevalence during the Spain's Modern History. Medical, demographic, social, economic and legal issues related with the problematic of the rice during this epoch are also discussed. Furthermore, this article provides information about the supposed transmission mechanisms of the disease, as well as the fight against it through chemotherapeutic and environmental sanitation techniques.

Sono presentati gli obiettivi, le ipotesi e le modalità di verifica delle nove azioni in cui si è articolato il progetto di rilevante interesse nazionale realizzato dall’unità di ricerca dell’Università di Palermo tra il 2013 e il 2016. Il contributo evidenzia in che modo le nove azioni di ricerca hanno contribuito a realizzare una didattica inclusiva partendo dal presupposto della personalizzazione dell’insegnamento.
