Identification and Mitigation of Tax Risks in the Latvian Hotel Sector

Darba autore pētījuma ietvaros veic Latvijas viesnīcu sektora nodokļu riska analīzi, lai novērtētu galvenos nodokļu riskus un izstrādātu nodokļu risku minimizēšanas risinājumus. Darba mērķis – pamatojoties uz nodokļu risku analīzes teorētiskiem aspektiem identificēt un novērtēt viesnīcu nozares nodokļu risku avotus un izstrādāt priekšlikumus nodokļu risku novēršanai. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka galvenie viesnīcu sektora nodokļu risku ietekmējošie faktori ir saistīti ar augsto nodokļu slogu un Covid-19 izraisīto krīzi. Tāpat negatīvu ietekmi uz viesnīcu sektora uzņēmumiem rada VSAOI likmes un ieņēmumu samazinājums. Ir izstrādāti priekšlikumi, kā minimizēt nodokļu riskus viesnīcu sektorā.
Nodokļu risku vadība un tās piemērošanas novērtējums AS Saplāksnis

Nodokļu risku vadība ir komplekss pasākumu kopums, lai veiktu preventīvos pasākumus pirms riska iestāšanās. Tas ir arī valsts noteikts pasākums, kas balstās uz godīgu nodokļu nomaksu. Nodokļu riski ietekmē pareizu nodokļu aprēķināšanu un informāciju, kas ir iekļaujama finanšu pārskatos. Diplomdarba mērķis ir uz AS Saplāksnis nodokļu risku vadības analīzes pamata, izmantojot teorētiskos aspektus, identificēt nepilnības nodokļu risku pārvaldības procesā un izstrādāt priekšlikumus tā pilnveidošanai. Pētījuma rezultātā tika noteikts, ka uzņēmumam ir nepieciešams papildināt identificētos nodokļu riskus, papildināt kontroles procedūras jaunajiem un jau esošajiem riskiem.
Akumulētā apkalpes noguruma un citu faktoru ietekme uz lidojumu parametru vērtībām

Maģistra darbā ir raksturota lidojuma apkalpes locekļu noguruma riska aktualitāte aviācijā. Lai objektīvi novērtētu šo faktoru ietekmi uz lidojuma izpildes drošību un kvalitāti, tiek izvērtēti lidojumu datu parametru analīzes rezultāti 2013. gada AirBaltic veiktajiem reisiem. Praktiskajā daļā tiek veikta lidojumu parametru vērtību blīvuma funkciju novērtēšana, korelācijas koeficientu aprēķini starp lidojumu datu parametriem un apkalpju darba laikiem akumulētos laika periodos, kā arī korelācijas koeficientu nozīmīguma novērtēšana. Background: Cannabis legalization and use have risen globally. However, the association between cannabis use, eating behaviors and body weight among adolescents is yet unexplored. Objectives: This study examined the association between cannabis use, fast-food consumption, overweight and obesity in 28 countries using data from the 2010–2016 Global School-Based Student Health Survey. Aim of this study was to assess operational reservoir rules for evaluating flood risk scenarios using a MonteCarlo bivariate framework. It involves a stochastic procedure to calculate flood hydrographs and, then, flood inundation area evaluation through a 2D hydraulic model to estimate the inundation risk and, as consequence, the relative damage evaluation, under different operation strategies of an upstream reservoir. Aim of study: To analyse the effect that operating leverage exerts on the cost of debt of agri-food firms in Europe, both in isolation and indirectly through its other risk factors.Area of study: We used panel data made up of 18,360 European firms from 2009 to 2016 (146,880 observations).Material and methods: The data were extracted from the ORBIS database and EUROSTAT.
