Pircēja kā tiesību pārņēmēja galvenie riski un aizsardzība kapitālsabiedrības iegādes (pārejas) procesā

2022

Kapitālsabiedrības jeb biznesa iegādes darījumi praksē veido lielu daļu no komerctiesību jomā iespējamajiem darījumiem.

From South to North? Mobility of Southern Italian Students at the Transition from the First to the Second Level University Degree

2018

In the last decades, the Italian University System has encountered several structural reforms aimed at making it more internationally competitive. Among them, the introduction of the University financial autonomy has triggered an “internal” competition among Universities to attract students from the entire country. Students’ enrollment at the first level has decreased significantly especially after the economic crisis of 2008, while the students’ migration from the South to the Central and Northern regions of the country has increased. These phenomena have created further inequalities within the country and a cultural and socio-economic loss for the South that does not appear to slow down. …

Apdrošināšanas tirgus Latvijā

2022

Bakalaura darbā "Apdrošināšanas tirgus Latvijā" autore Jekaterina Romanova analizēja apdrošināšanas tirgus teorētiskos aspektus, apdrošināšanas tirgu Latvijā - tirgus dalībniekus, piedāvātos pakalpojumus, prēmīju apjomus, kā arī apdrošināšanas tirgus Latvijā attīstības tendences, izmaiņas un attīstības perspektīvas ar mērķi atklāt pozitīvos momentus un trūkumus, kā arī izstrādāt priekšlikumus apdrošināšanas tirgus uzlabošanai. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, autore izvirzījusi šādus uzdevumus: 1)pamatojoties uz speciālo literatūru, pētīt apdrošināšanas tirgus teorētiskos aspektus; 2)izpētīt Latvijas apdrošināšanas tirgus izmaiņas; 3)analizēt apdrošināšanas riskus Latvijā; 4)izdarīt secinājum…

Makroekonomikas vides ietekme uz tautsaimniecības nozaru sistemātisko risku

2021

Modified Glasgow Prognostic Score is Associated With Risk of Recurrence in Bladder Cancer Patients After Radical Cystectomy

2015

Recently, many studies explored the role of inflammation parameters in the prognosis of urinary cancers, but the results were not consistent. The modified Glasgow Prognostic Score (mGPS), a systemic inflammation marker, is a prognostic marker in various types of cancers. The aim of the present study was to investigate the usefulness of the preoperative mGPS as predictor of recurrence-free (RFS), overall (OS), and cancer-specific (CSS) survivals in a large cohort of urothelial bladder cancer (UBC) patients.A total of 1037 patients with UBC were included in this study with a median follow-up of 22 months (range 3-60 months). An mGPS = 0 was observed in 646 patients (62.3%), mGPS = 1 in 297 pa…

Clean Agent Selection Approached by Fuzzy TOPSIS Decision-Making Method

2008

Abstract. It is well known that halons are ozone-depleting substances and their release into the atmosphere has contributed in the last decades to the reduction in the ozone layer. In consequence to the Montreal Protocol, an international agreement designed to gradually eliminate the use of such substances, fire protection industry researchers faced the challenge of finding effective solutions to replace halon extinguishers. This research aims to provide a method to support the decision maker in the selection of the most suitable extinguisher substance for a specific application. According to such framework, a set of quantitative and qualitative criteria has been established in the decision…

Sex differences in food choices, adherence to dietary recommendations and plasma lipid profile in type 2 diabetes

2016

Background and aims Diabetic women have a more adverse plasma lipid profile than men. Sex differences in dietary habits may play a role, but are little investigated. The study evaluates the quality of diet, adherence to the nutritional recommendations of the Diabetes and Nutrition Study Group and their relation with plasma lipid in men and women with diabetes. Methods and results We studied 2573 people, aged 50–75, enrolled in the TOSCA.IT study (clinicaltrials.gov; NCT00700856). Plasma lipids were measured centrally. Diet was assessed with a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Women had a more adverse plasma lipid profile than men. Women consumed significantly more legumes, veg…

Rehabilitative training of preterm children’s attention: a study on sustainability

2012

This article is concerned with the description of rehabilitative training aimed at severely and moderately preterm children at preschool age who display impairments of processes of selective attention, self-control and problem solving and who are at risk of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders. In line with a perspective of field study suggested by pediatric psychology, the treatment calls for the involvement of parents, teachers, neonatologists and children’s reference pediatricians. To be more precise, it is a study aimed at investigating the sustainability of the training path in terms of impact and transformative valence of the focalised processes. Involved in the study was a group…
