In recent years many attempts have been made to design suitable sets of rules aimed at extracting the semantic meaning from plain text, and to achieve annotation, but very few approaches make extensive use of grammars. Current systems are mainly focused on extracting the semantic role of the entities described in the text. This approach has limitations: in such applications the semantic role is conceived merely as the meaning of the involved entities without considering their context. Tika izvirzīti sekojoši jautājumi: kādas sakarības pastāv starp dzimumlomu, uz rūpēm balstīto morālo spriešanu un piesaistes stilu sievietēm un kā dzimumloma un piesaistes stils prognozē uz rūpēm balstīto morālo spriešanu? This thesis presents a comparison between two culturally different countries in terms of gender differences causing inequality in the working and domestic life. France, one of the pioneer countries in terms of fighting for women’s rights, but at the same time strongly paternalistic and chauvinist as a result of its Latin culture, is compared to Finland, considered as an example for gender equality. The research was conducted among private French and Finnish companies, where interviews were conducted of male and female employees holding different positions in the hierarchy. Students' usage patterns of video recorded lectures in an undergraduate mathematics course

International audience; It is customary for some universities to offer recordings of live lectures to students. Whether this improves learning and academic performance is debated in the literature. As with most technology, correct usage can lead to increased academic performance, but there are also usage patterns that can be considered counter productive, especially for learning mathematics. In order to investigate patterns in students' usage of such online recorded live lectures, we analyze log files from a server holding the recordings of an undergraduate mathematics course. This paper aims to discuss complexity as a key feature for understanding the role of science knowledge in environmental and health contexts—a central issue in Science|Environment|Health pedagogy. Complex systems are, in principle, not predictable. In different contexts, ephemeral mechanisms produce different, sometimes completely unexpected results. The art of decision-making in complex contexts is to take scientific knowledge into account but to interpret its meaning in terms of concrete complex contexts. El propósito de este trabajo es presentar una propuesta de tratamiento cognitivo-conductual para la intervención en la adicción a video juegos. Se presenta el caso de un varón de 21 años con problemas con el uso de los videojuegos. Se expone el procedimiento en cada una de las fases de las que consta el tratamiento, así como los resultados de su eficacia en un estudio de caso. Después de trece semanas de intervención se aprecian importantes cambios en el nivel de dependencia. Los resultados muestran una disminución significativa del tiempo de uso del ordenador y de juego, así como una mejoría del funcionamiento personal y social del paciente. In questo articolo rispondo alle critiche e ai commenti alla mia ricostruzione della concezione del potere di Michel Foucault proposti da Bruno Celano, José Juan Moreso, Marco Segatti, Alessandro Spena. Mi concentro in particolare sui seguenti aspetti: la connessione fra la nozione foucaultiana di potere e il conflitto; la distinzione fra potere disciplinare, potere governamentale, e potere normativo; la concezione foucaultiana della libertà come autorialità; ciò che Foucault può suggerire riguardo ad alcune “macchie cieche” della teoria del diritto contemporanea.
Budowanie roli przez migrujące zarobkowo kobiety

W prezentowanym tekście odnoszę się do szeregu moich badań związanych z migracją kobiet. Podejmując się analizy teoretycznej tych badań sięgam do teorii roli jako narzędzia do wyjaśnienia zjawisk. Modyfikuję ją poprzez dodanie innych, pozaludzkich (non-humans) partnerów roli, wobec których rola migrantki jest konstruowana i odgrywana. W efekcie tego przekształcenia teoretycznego ustalam, że istnieje większa liczba partnerów roli, co jest ruchem symetrycznym wobec tego, jaki wykonał Bruno Latour. Wyjazd za granicę nie rozwiązuje konfliktu między rolami rodzinnymi a zawodowymi kobiet; może go jedynie nasilać. Równocześnie stwarza okazję intensywnego doświadczania wielokulturowego świata, popr…
