Objective To evaluate the effects of a physical exercise program on days lived at home, the use and costs of healthcare and social services mortality and functional independence among patients with hip fractures. Design Randomized controlled trial with parallel two-group design, consisting of a 12-month intervention and 12-month registry follow-up. Setting Home-based intervention. Participants Patients with operated hip fracture, living at home, aged ≥60 years, randomized into physical-exercise (n=61) or usual-care (n=60) groups. In the tradition of the Catholic Church, music is an indispensable and integral part of its solemn liturgy. This statement is a reminder of a centuries-old belief in the unity of these two realities. Over the centuries, various causes have resulted in periods of better or worse condition of liturgical music. The second half of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century were considered a time of crisis. It manifested itself primarily in the low level of education and carelessness of church musicians, as well as the lack of appropriate musical literature and drawing on secular models. Background: Although the mechanistic target of rapamycin (MTOR) kinase, included in the mTORC1 and mTORC2 signalling hubs, has been demonstrated to be active in a significant fraction of patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), the value of the kinase as a therapeutic target needs further clarification. Methods: We used Mtor floxed mice to analyse the function of the kinase in context of the pancreas at the genetic level. Using a dual-recombinase system, which is based on the flippase-FRT (Flp-FRT) and Cre-loxP recombination technologies, we generated a novel cellular model, allowing the genetic analysis of MTOR functions in tumour maintenance. Based on an ethnographic approach, this paper explores how members of a new age spiritual movement known as ?Llave Mariana? (LLM) build and experience their bodies. At the same time, it develops a thick description of their ritual practices and later it analyzes, delving fundamentally into the phenomenological perspective, how these members shape and transform their forms of self-perception, experience, and representation of others and the environment. Finally, it considers the implications these spiritual practices have in the search and consolidation of alternative ways of being-in-the-world

Perinteisesti IT-resurssien hankinta on tapahtunut hankkimalla laitteistoa ja ohjelmistoja omaan tai organisaation omistukseen. Näiden resurssien käyttö on yleensä tarkoittanut merkittäviä investointeja laitteistoihin, ohjelmistoihin ja näiden ylläpitoon. Suuressa organisaatiossa kalliiden IT-resurssien käyttöönotto voi olla joissain tapauksissa hyvinkin byrokraattinen prosessi.
