Background and aims Sexual addiction is a pathological behavior characterized by a combination of excessive sexual desire and impaired ability to control it. Its incidence ranges between 1.2% and 32.2%, although this number may vary depending on the screening tool used. Während der Verlauf und die Ursachen des Geburtenverhaltens intensiv erforscht wurden, sind die finanziellen Folgen einer Geburt empirisch kaum beachtet worden. Daher werden hier kurzfristige Wohlstandsveränderungen von Familien (hinsichtlich verfügbarem Haushaltseinkommen und Äquivalenzeinkommen) rund um die Geburt eines Kindes in längsschnittlicher Perspektive analysiert und auf ihre Ursachen untersucht. Zu diesem Zweck wurden die Daten des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels (1984-2005) mittels Fixed-Effekt-Panelregressionsmodellen analysiert. Veiktā pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas sakarības pastāv starp Lielā piecinieka personības iezīmēm, impulsivitāti un riskantu seksuālu uzvedību. Datu ievākšanai tika izmantotas divas aptaujas: Latvijas Personības aptauja (LPA-v3, Perepjolkina & Renģe, 2013); Impulsivitātes aptauja (UPPS Impulsivity Scale, Whiteside & Lynam, 2001), ko Latvijā adaptējusi A. Caune, 2008. gadā, un riskantas seksuālas uzvedības noteikšanai tika uzdoti trīs jautājumi: cik gados tika uzsākta dzimumdzīve, cik seksuālo partneru ir bijis dzīves laikā un cik bieži pēdējo 6 mēnešu laikā tika lietots prezervatīvs. Pētījumā piedalījās 45 respondenti (33 sievietes, 12 vīrieši) vecumā no 19 līdz 29 gadiem (M = 23,1).…

This study examined the associations of work schedules and spousal satisfaction among Finnish (n = 347), Dutch (n = 304) and British (n = 337) parents. In addition to comparing parents with nonstandard schedule with parents in regular day work, the study examined separately the roles played in spousal satisfaction of morning, evening, night and weekend work and other working time-related variables (working hours, changes in and influence over one’s work schedules and spouse’s work schedule).
