"Parva sed apta mihi"

2008

Children's participatory budgets as a civic learning methodology. An exploratory study on the Spanish experience.

2021

International audience; The present research work aims to analyze, in an exploratory way, the main characteristics of child participatory budgets during 2019 in eight Spanish municipalities. The experiences of child budgeting are not well institutionalized. In general terms, when a participatory process is finished, all informational traces usually disappear. This study uses the comparative methodology with a theoretical framework based on Hart’s participation ladder and democratic civic participation. Three hypotheses have been generated and, among the main preliminary conclusions, it is highlighted that in all the cases analyzed the educational and civic training component prevails, in wh…

Sensory methodology developed for the investigation of sciaccarello wine concept

2004

<p style="text-align: justify;">The aim of the present work was to underline the existence of a sensory space relevant to Sciaccarello wines. Twenty-eight wines were selected for viticultural and enological characteristics, using 1/2 Sciaccarello/Non- Sciaccarello ratio. Sensory analyses (orthonasal then overall perceptions) were performed with a panel composed of seventeen judges. All of the judges were experienced in Sciaccarello wines knowledge. Statistical treatment by PCA was first carried out to display the consensus between the assessors. ANOVA was performed to discriminate accurate and inaccurate examples of Sciaccarello wines. This study demonstrated the existence of the sens…
