Service continuity is of basic importance in the definition of the quality of the electrical energy, for this reason, the research in the field of faults diagnostic for distribution systems is spreading ever more. In this paper, a new methodology for diagnostic management of automated distribution systems is presented. The technique is based on the solution of a circuital model of the electrical system resulting from the composition of distributed parameters quadripoles. Background: Heart failure (HF) is a major and growing public health problem worldwide. Across the world, heart failure is associated with high mortality, high hospitalization rates, and poor quality of life. Self-care is defined as a naturalistic decision-making process involving the choice of behaviors that maintain physiologic stability, the response to symptoms when they occur, and the ability to follow the treatment regimen and control symptoms. Identifying territories using presence-only citizen science data : An application to the Finnish wolf population

Citizens, community groups and local institutions participate in voluntary biological monitoring of population status and trends by providing species data e.g. for regulations and conservation. Sophisticated statistical methods are required to unlock the potential of such data in the assessment of wildlife populations. We develop a statistical modelling framework for identifying territories based on presence-only citizen science data. The framework can be used to jointly estimate the number of active animal territories and their locations in time. The participant interview: a method to understand the individual's experience in the car

L’individu dans son automobile, durant ses déplacements quotidiens, habite d’une façon ou d’une autre l’espace circonscrit dans lequel il se trouve alors. De ce point de vue, il apparaît nécessaire de développer une ethno-sociologie des manières d’habiter son automobile. Pour atteindre cette ambition heuristique, nous préciserons ici les termes de cette méthode que nous nommons « entretien participant ». Hybridant les méthodes de l’entretien et de l’observation participante, l’entretien du rapport de l’individu contemporain à son automobile alternant sans cesse entre réflexivité et routines, entre repli sur soi et disponibilité au monde et à soi.
