Course and Predictors of Pain and Physical Functioning in Patients with Hip Osteoarthritis: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Objective: To systematically summarize the literature on: (i) the course of pain and physical functioning; and (ii) predictors of deterioration of pain and physical functioning in patients with osteoarthritis of the hip. Methods: A literature search was conducted in PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, PsychINFO and SPORTDiscus up to July 2015. Meta-analyses and qualitative data syntheses were performed. Results: Eleven of the 15 included studies were of high quality. Synthesis of oxide-supported vanadium catalysts and their activity in ethylene polymerization

The activity of oxide-supported vanadium-based catalyst systems (VOCl 3/Et 2AlCl) in low-pressure ethylene polymerization and the properties of the resulting polyethylenes were studied in relation to the type and mode of modification of the oxide support. Alumina, silica and an un"conventional silica-type material prepared by the sol-gel process were used as supports. Results are compared with those obtained earlier with a catalyst supported on MgCl 2(THF) 2. Of the oxides studied, the silica-type sol-gel material dehydrated and subsequently modified with Et 2AlCl proved to be the best carrier for a vanadium catalyst. This paper presents an analysis of the intervention dose-effect of the Parent Child Psychological Support Program© (Cerezo 1990) a program aimed at promoting protective adaptive system in children which is offered to all new-borns in a given catchment area. The program offers support to parents during the first 18 months of the baby's life. The program dose-effect is examined regarding the parents by examining the level of distress reported by them and with babies by examining the development of attachment using the Strange Situation test of Ainsworth et al. Background Adding cyclic short sustained inflations (sigh) to assisted ventilation yields optimizes lung recruitment, decreases heterogeneity and reduces inspiratory effort in patients with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure (AHRF).
