Pašaktualizācijas izpētes aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka pašaktualizācija ir saistīta ar cilvēka psiholoģisko veselību un personības briedumu. Tas tika atkārtoti norādīts Maslova (Маслоу, 2001) un Rodžersa (Rogers, 1961) darbos. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot pašaktualizācijas rādītāju atšķirības dažādās vecuma un dzimuma grupās. Darbā izmantota zinātniskās literatūras analīze, pašaktualizācijas rādītāja mērīšanai tika izmantots Šostroma (Shostrom, 1964) pašaktualizācijas tests. Agenttien uskottavuus ja tekotyperyys digitaalisissa peleissä

Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan pelin hahmojen eli agenttien uskottavuutta. Uskottava agentti käyttäytyy pelaajan odotusten mukaisesti. Tekstissä pohditaan, mitkä seikat vaikuttavat agentin uskottavuuteen, ja miten uskottavuus vaikuttaa pelin viihdyttävyyteen. Työssä pyritään tuomaan esille, kuinka agentin etevyys pelissä, tai sen toteutuksen virheettömyys eivät yksin riitä tekemään siitä uskottavaa. Tutkielmassa esitellään myös tekotyperyyden käsite. Tekotyperä agentti on tarkoituksellisesti ohjelmoitu tekemään virheitä. Tekstissä havainnollistetaan, kuinka tekotyperyys voi parantaa agentin uskottavuutta.

The aim of this study was to explore how self-regulation and effort in test-taking contribute to undergraduate students’ performance in critical thinking assessment. Abstract Aim This retrospective study aimed to characterize the baseline status of patients following periodontal maintenance, analysing the association between the long‐term outcome of these patients, smoking, bruxism, and the main clinical and radiographic variables. Material and methods A sample of 174 patients with moderate to severe periodontitis was refined into homogeneous subsamples according to smoking and bruxism and the rate of tooth loss due to periodontal disease (TLPD): 0, 1–2, and >2 teeth. On the use of the EMI for the health monitoring of bonded elements

The low weight, robustness and fatigue resistance of adhesive joints make them suitable for structural joints. A fully developed nondestructive evaluation technique however is needed to monitor and assess the quality of bonded joints. In the present paper the application of the electromechanical impedance (EMI) technique is proposed. In the EMI method a piezoelectric transducer (PZT) is attached to the structure of interest.
