OBJECTIVE: To assess the prevalence of good clinical response and remission in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with longstanding disease treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) drugs at outpatient clinics. METHODS: Retrospective national study of 14 academic tertiary referral rheumatology medical centers. RA patients with a Disease Activity Score (DAS28) > 3.2 were defined as having active disease and could start TNF-alpha blockers. All patients received one TNF-alpha blocker plus methotrexate (10-20 mg/wk). Activation of c-Jun N-terminal kinases (JNKs) and nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB) are early cellular responses to genotoxic stress involved in the regulation of gene expression. Pretreatment of cells with the hydroxymethyl glutaryl-CoA reductase inhibitor lovastatin blocked stimulation of JNK1 activity by UV irradiation and by treatment with the alkylating compound methyl methanesulfonate but did not affect activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 2 by UV light. A quadrivalent high-dose inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV4-HD) is licensed for adults ≥65 y of age based on immunogenicity and efficacy studies. However, IIV4-HD has not been evaluated in adults aged 60–64 y. This study compared immunogenicity and safety of IIV4-HD with a standard-dose quadrivalent influenza vaccine (IIV4-SD) in adults aged ≥60 y. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 41 lapas. Tajā ir 33 attēli, 2 tabulas, 24 literatūras avoti un 4 pielikumi. Mērķis: Novērtēt datorizēta krāsu sakārtošanas testa parametru ietekmi uz krāsu izšķirtspēju un tā pielietojamību krāsu izšķirtspējas novērtēšanā gan normālas, gan izmainītas krāsu redzes gadījumā. Rezultāti: Mainot krāsu stimulu izmērus (1,9° un 1,1°), savstarpējo attālumu (0,5° un 1,5°) un veicot testu stimuliem ar un bez kontūras, būtiskas atšķirības testa izpildē netika novērotas. This paper examines the academic performance depending on the evaluation and rating system used in the university. The sample under study consists of 30 subjects -taught by 35 professors to 2192 students from 7 different degrees at 14 universities of all Spain-. The results confirm that continuous assessment is the one that best results not only in terms of rate of return and success rate but also in terms of grades.
