Our paper addresses the relevance of a set of continuous and categorical variables that describe industry characteristics to differences in performance between foreign versus locally owned companies in industries with dissimilar levels of technological intensity. The OLYMPUS collaboration reports on a precision measurement of the positron-proton to electron-proton elastic cross section ratio, $R_{2\gamma}$, a direct measure of the contribution of hard two-photon exchange to the elastic cross section. In the OLYMPUS measurement, 2.01~GeV electron and positron beams were directed through a hydrogen gas target internal to the DORIS storage ring at DESY. Efecto pantalla y efecto Sísifo: dos fenómenos didácticos en la resolución de problemas por transferencia analógica

Se presenta un estudio cualitativo, basado en entrevistas semi-estructuradas, de 2 casos que muestran dos fenomenos didacticos de interes en la resolucion de problemas por transferencia analogica. El primero muestra un ‘efecto pantalla’, en el cual el sujeto no puede acceder a la estructura de los problemas a partir de los enunciados. En el segundo caso, el sujeto no logra alcanzar un estado estable de comprension, a pesar de su avance, y por tanto acaba por retroceder a un estado de ausencia de conflicto cognitivo, pero indeseado desde el punto de vista didactico (‘efecto Sisifo’). Se discuten las posibles implicaciones didacticas de estos casos.

International audience; The synthesis of dyad and triad aza-BODIPY-porphyrin systems in two steps starting from an aryl-substituted aza-BODIPY chromophore is described. The properties of the resulting aza-BODIPY-porphyrin conjugates have been extensively investigated by means of electrochemistry, spectroelectrochemistry, and absorption/emission spectroscopy. Fluorescence measurements have revealed a dramatic loss of luminescence intensity, mainly due to competitive energy transfer and photoinduced electron transfer involving charge separation followed by recombination.

To combine the conservation of highly valuable meadow habitat with reclamation of post‐industrial land, 1.3 ha of turf were translocated from an urban area to basins constructed near an abandoned quarry.
