Resumen: La imagen corporal positiva presenta una función protectora preeminente ante los medios de comunicación actuales, sin embargo, a la fecha no se cuenta con estudios que la vinculen con las redes sociales. El objetivo de este trabajo fue estudiar la asociación entre la motivación y usos de redes sociales y la imagen corporal positiva, considerando diferencias por sexo y grupos de edad. La muestra contó con 180 participantes, 94 varones (52.2 %) y 86 mujeres (47.8 %), edades de 18 a 65 años (M = 31.03; DE = 13.34). Background and aims Previous studies have shown that prescription opioid use is more common in the socioeconomically disadvantaged communities in the US. This study examined the area and individual‐level determinants of prescription opioid use in Finland during the period 1995‐2016. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saistības starp sociālo trauksmi, alkohola lietošanas motīviem un alkohola lietošanai raksturīgajām pazīmēm. Pētījuma grupu veidoja 71 respondents, no kuriem 43 bija sievietes (61%) un 28 vīrieši (39%). Vidējais dalībnieka vecums ir 24 gadi (M=23,75, SD=4,09). Grupas dalībnieku vecums variē no 20 līdz 46 gadiem. Vīriešu vidējais vecums ir 25 gadi (M=24,7, SD=5,09), taču sieviešu vidējais vecums ir 23 gadi (M=23,12, SD=3,19). The Database Species-Area Relationships in Palaearctic Grasslands (GIVD ID EU-00-003) is an initiative of the European Dry Grassland Group (EDGG) and primarily functions as repository for all data sampled during the EDGG Research Expeditions. During these expeditions two types of highly standardised sampling of dry grassland vegetation in the Palaearctic realm are carried out: (i) nested-plot sampling on squares of 0.0001, 0.001, 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, and 100 m2; (ii) additional normal releves of 10-m2 plots. The author shows the development of a structure, derived from the processing and integration of Ground Cadastre, where all soil characteristics are described. The soil is considered as divided according to the updated concept of cadastral parcel (soil and topographic uniformity of ownership and municipality). RESUMEN El presente estudio investigó las relaciones entre la autoestima, la soledad y el uso problemático del smartphone y las diferencias de género. La muestra fue no probabilística y estuvo compuesta por 202 participantes (106 hombres y 96 mujeres), con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y los 58 años, que completaron las siguientes pruebas: Smartphone Addiction Scale, Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale for Adults y Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg.
