Trauksme kā mediators universālo vērtību dimensiju saistībai ar pašcieņu

Šī pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt universālo vērtību dimensiju saistību ar pašcieņu un iekļaut trauksmi kā iespējamo mediātoru starp šiem mainīgajiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 244 respondenti vecumā no 18 – 87 gadiem (M = 39,33; SD = 13,96) no tiem 61% sieviešu un 39% vīriešu. Pētījums ir korelatīvi aprakstošs. Pētījumā izmantotas Švarca Portretu vērtību aptauja 21 (Portrait Values Questionnaire PVQ, Schwartz, 1992), Rozenberga pašcieņas aptauja (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Rosenberg,1965) un Trauksmes stāvokļa – iezīmes pašnovērtējuma anketa (“Self – Evaluation Questionaire”/STAI/, Spielberger, 1983). This paper examines how worldviews and national values are displayed in the national (Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) curricula of Sweden, Finland and Norway. The specific interest is to investigate what similarities and differences there are between these three ECEC curricula with regard to the position of religions and other worldviews. The impact of consumer local engagement on local store patronage and customer satisfaction

This paper examines the drivers of local grocery retail patronage. Drawing on institutional and social network theory literature, we develop a framework to investigate how consumers’ personal values and engagement with local communities affect their satisfaction and local store patronage. We test our model with survey data on 1504 Finnish consumers. Our results show that the relationship between customer local engagement and local retail patronage is indirect rather than direct, and it is mediated by the vitality of local services, social interaction, and consumer satisfaction.

The Path from Ethical Organisational Culture to Employee Commitment : Mediating Roles of Value Congruence and Work Engagement

Following the Job Demands-Resources model’s motivational process, this study investigates the role of person-organisation fit and work engagement as mediating processes between ethical culture and employee commitment, where ethical culture is seen as an organisational resource. It was expected that the stronger the ethical values and practices are experienced to be, the more compatible employees feel with the organisation. Beyond “liberals” and “conservatives”: Complexity in ideology, moral intuitions, and worldview among Swedish voters

This research investigated the congruence between the ideologies of political parties and the ideological preferences (N = 1515), moral intuitions (N = 1048), and political values and worldviews (N = 1345) of diverse samples of Swedish adults who voted or intended to vote for the parties. Logistic regression analyses yielded support for a series of hypotheses about variations in ideology beyond the left-right division. Reflecting on Work Values with Young Unemployed Adults in Finland

In this article, we explore the internal conversations about the work values of young unemployed adults in Finland. We draw on the theoretical concept of internal conversation by Margaret Archer in order to shift the focus from the individual work values to the interplay between subjective concerns and structural circumstances.
